Really disappointed that this is my second pair of ASICS to get tears in side on both shoes after less than 3 months of wear. Even went up to a wide to prevent it. ASICS has changed their materials for the worse.

I have been buying Gel Nimbus for so many years. The new 22 design wore sour within 8 weeks. Ima thallium bought a second pair thinking it was just a fluke, but the exact same thing happened. So disappointing. Terrible design flaw!,

I loved the nimbus 17. It was so soft and cushioned. This is exactly the opposite, hard, not cushioned at all, and narrow. Please get rid of flytefoam and bring back the soft, cloudlike cushioning of the 17! And widen the toebox!

Wanted to love these but had to return asap. They are SO tight and painful to walk in despite tons of padding.

I was so excited to get the Gel Nimbus 22 but was so disappointed and confused about how they can have such a perfect shoes, and then when updating the new model forget what makes their shoes good to being with. Here are the issues: 1. The back heel area; when you slide the shoe on, the back part crumples up with your sock and it feels like you have fabric wedged back there. It isn't a solid structure like their previous models. It slides and bunches and moves around. I recommended a shoe horn when putting these on. 2. There is too much fabric around the toes and ball of the foot. My foot feels like its floating around up there but then overly tight where you tie the shoe laces. Having so much give by the toes makes my toes hurt after running. 3. Shoe laces are too short. I am giving up on these (too late to return them since I've worn them) and I am going to buy a pair of the 21's.

These shoes are padded nicely and seem like they will be comfy and a great choice - however...all that padding means you'll need to size up a full size larger than normal which seems crazy. Then even when you have the right fit - its extremely painful to walk or just stand in line in these. I couldn't make it work and had to return. Wish Asics would go back to old sizing and makes of shoes as others have noted.

First I want to thank Asics for the discount for healthcare workers! I was needing new shoes for work and running so it was perfect timing. I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in the Nimbus 22's. I had foot surgery 8 years ago and Nimbus has been my go too shoe for work and running, but I am unable to run in the 22's they hurt my feet and they do not provide the same support for long work shifts on my feet. The toe box is to narrow I had to buy new thin socks to wear with these shoes. I have been buying Nimbus shoes for years and I wish they would bring the 18's back! I am now on the search for a new brand of running show.

A standard width fitting. Had hoped it would be a wider fit.

I emailed Ascis and have not heard back yet but the soles of my shoes are peeling. I only wore the shoes for 1 week on carpet at work. I have never had a shoe do this before. They are comfortable however I can not wear them when they are peeling. I hope to hear from someone at Ascis ASAP. Thank you.

Out of the 4 sneakers that I ordered, this was the most uncomfortable one. Although I ordered half a size up, it still feels too tight. There is also a lift in the sole that almost makes it feel like your feet are sliding forward. Not my favorite style from the brand. The color was nice at least.

Disappointing. They feel heavy and hurt the balls of my feet. I'm still trying to break them in after 2 weeks. I bought them for jogging and working and I can't wear them for either.

It was Super tight at the tarsal no matter how I tried to loosen up the shoe lace.

I'm a Nimbus fan. This shoe looks fantastic however doesn't give the usual firm and even support from the Nimbus, pushing the ankle over. Half a size short in the fit. Sent this pair back so look forward to the 23!

Bought these to replace Gel Nimbus 18 which have been terrific. This model of Gel-Nimbus fits very differently. They have cut down on the material on the sides so that the lace/tongue opening has to be quite wide for ones foot to fit in. I have a very, very narrow foot and it is amazing that this shoe can barely close around my foot. In addition, there seems to be a lack of adequate padding. The ball of my foot hurts badly and I have a blister on the back of my heel after wearing these for a few days. They are going back.

I loved this shoe, but less than two months into wearing the weaving on the top of the shoe is coming apart. I am really disappointed, as the shoe is comfortable for walking. This should not happen on this expensive of a shoe! I think it is a defect of ASICS!

I hate returning a pair of shoes I've worn 4 times but am very grateful for your forgiving policy on athletic shoes! I've probably had 12+ pairs of Asics and a size 8.5 always fit perfectly. These felt a big snug when I tried them on and walked about in the house but figured they were just new. The cushioning of the sole was superb. After 4 five mile runs I've realized I cannot wear them. They are too short and make my big toes ache and I also find them narrow for a medium width. There was no improvement in the fit with thinner socks. The cushioning was superb.

It is very comfortable, however with very little use, the fabric started to tear, both mine and my sisters. It's very disappointing, because I was expecting higher quality for an ASICS shoes. I have my Nike shoes for years, used many times, I even threw it in the washing machine and it's still pretty new!

I have been a loyal Asics Gel Nimbus fan for years - I've trained for and run marathons in these shoes and I've always trusted them to be cushy pillows for my feet - no blisters, no pain after hundreds of miles. HOWEVER, this Asics Gel Nimbus 22 has been the WORST running shoe I've ever owned. I've consistently had heel pain and large blisters form on my heels after running or walking in these shoes. There is no cushioning like the past Asics Gel Nimbus styles. I don't know what Asics did with this 'upgrade' but I would strongly advise you to not purchase these shoes. I am really disappointed
