The beautiful supple leather feels very high quality so the interesting intersecting straps don't pinch. The wide strap across the instep near the ankle includes a bit of elastic at the bottom so it flexes comfortably when walking. However, this is a long, narrow shoe that didn't suit my wider feet. The outsole seemed sturdy and practical, but not too chunky. The insole/footbed is lightly padded, but odd seaming made it feel lumpy and strange under my foot instead of supportive. I'm returning this because it didn't suit my foot, but I feel like someone with a slim foot and high instep will love this versatile sandal.

This shoe fit in length and width, but the large band that goes around the top of the sandal is too big. It is not adjustable so my foot slid around when I walked. Sadly had to return

I like this sandal and it is comfortable, but the strap around the ankle is too big. I am returning them.

These sandals fit just right!

I was looking to replace my older sandals and was very happy to find exactly what I wanted in this classic style with a great sole. I always wear a 5 1/2 and these are true to size and look exactly the same as pictured. And of course the free speedy shipping is awesome. Thank you again Zappos!

I read in reviews that the wide stripe on top is quite loose. If you have a narrow foot or not a high instep, it is significantly loosen and sits higher than the rest of the straps.

Shoe is on the wide side, which is nice, but the top strap over the toes is too wide. The shoe is long, so I am going to order a half-size down because it's comfortable and nice looking.

This is a generously sized shoe that would be good for wide feet, but the reason I had to return it is that the foot-bed is some kind of plastic-y stuff that feels uncomfortable at room temperature, I would bet in hot weather - this is a sandal, after all - it would be really unpleasant.

The straight strap across the top of my foot was too big. It just sits in the air and not near the foot and looks weird. It was also a little skinny for my toes which are normal size. I wear a size 7 M.

Very cute sandal unfortunately they were very wide so much so that I couldn't wear them.
