Shoes felt true to size lengthwise. I ordered a wide width. It was too narrow.

These are great sneakers - just what I wanted...but there's one problem. The back of the heel (where it comes up) is so high that it dug into my heel and made them unbearable to wear. I'm keeping them and I'm going to cut off that flap, and I hope they don't fray apart. I love them, but that flap is awful

This might be a good shoe for someone, but not for me. I like good structure to support my foot, good arch support. These aren't really very supportive. My main complaint is that I was not able to tie them tight enough for my narrow foot, so then they're not really a narrow shoe, are they?

I wear an 8 1/2 narrow and I can usually find a great shoe from Clarks. However, I could not tie this little sneaker tight enough to hold my narrow foot. I was slippin' and slidin' all over. This often leads me to a twisted ankle. Not a very substantial shoe, not much arch support.

These shoes are so high up the achilles tendon that they rub; I'm returning them. At the same time I bought Vionic Beach Pismo which have a similar style but are more comfortable. Both the Clarks and the Vionic were fine on my bunions.

These are cute shoes, but when ordered in my usual M width, I could barely get my foot in the shoe (and I definitely do not have a wide foot). I ordered the next pair in W and they fit nicely. They’re comfortable and cute.

I really liked the shoes...Nice fit, style and support. I had to return them due to the lip in the back rubbing on my heel. I could see a blister soon to come. Why would they put that there?

Back of shoe comes up too high on the heel and rubs the skin. Can’t wear although I love them. Should have been padded.

I like them a lot they seemed to be confortable the only problem for me was the back part it’s to high and bothered me probably was going to stress my foot or make a blister, I even thought in cutting it but the construction of the shoes didn’t allow me to do it, because it looks that I could make the problem even worse and ruin the shoes.

After some minor adjustments, these sneakers are perfect for me. It's hard to find a good 12N fit, and the fit on my foot is perfect. Some reviews have mentioned the tab that sticks up in back, which can rub against the achilles tendon. This was the issue I also had. But I was determined to find a solution. I washed the shoes and while they were drying, I turned the tab to the outside and held them in place with clothespins. That solved the problem. I don't know if washing softened the fabric or bending the tab to the outside OR both adjustments made the difference. They now are extremely comfortable.

This was the look I wanted unfortunately they were too tight all over and did not provide any arch support I will be returning.

Fit was too small to keep them. A little less attractive in person than on the website. Not my faves.

I truly love this sneaker. I ordered a 91/2N which the right shoe fit fine but the left shoe was shorter than the right it also was a little off shape. so I am going to return it. I would have exchanged it but they did not have my size. waiting for more to come in. So sad.

They are cute. I had to return them because the toe box is not adequate while the heel is too loose. Can't walk in them.

i only occasionally buy clarke's, just never sure if they're going to fit well. this pair disappointed. well made but uncomfortable. rubbed against my heel and way too tight across the top of my foot.

The shoe is cute and the color I was looking for but the back of the shoe is just high enough to rub on the back of my heel. A real blister hazard for me. Unfortunately, sending them back.

Due to my feet swollen it was tight. I love the color and style. Wish there was a 13. It hurt my feeling to return them.

They were cute but seemed at least a half size to one full size too long.

I was surprised that the back of shoe was loose (my heel could lift out). This brand is usually a good fit for me, but this one seemed to be a bad design.

Slices into the back of my ankle. Very painful. That one stiff piece sticking up ruins the otherwise comfortable shoe.

These rubbed blisters on my heels so I cannot use them. Did not seem to be slipping but the heel comes up quite high.
