I did size up per the recommendation and the fit was accurate. However, if you have small ankles like me (ex: I usually have to use the smallest holes in sandals or punch my own hole) these will be roomy in the ankles. It's not a deal breaker and it's not too bothersome for me, but important to note if you like your sandals to have a snug fit.

These shoes are the absolute perfect balance of classic, dressy, and sporty/trendy and can be dressed up or down with ANYTHING from a dinner dress to jean shorts. I have not found a style quite like this from any other retailer so I'm so glad I found the recommendation from Dearly Bethany. Out of the box the sole is a bit stiff and the straps seemed a bit loose on my small feet, but after wearing them around the house they molded to my feet and stayed securely. I am usually a size 6 but ordered 6.5 which is the perfect length for the footbed so I would agree with the half-size up recommendation if you don't like your toes too extending off/near the edge of your sandals! I didn't exchange the size because the customer service said that the strap length doesn't change between a 6 and 6.5, but the sole is 1/4" longer. The quality seems great and I'm hoping these last for years to come!

I ordered the sky grey color. They arrived quickly and the comfort and quality seem very good. However, I am almost exclusively a size 8 for any other shoe, and ordered a size 8.5 per the company recommendation and other reviews. I found that the half size up was still too short in length, to the point where my heel was hanging off the back. The straps were wearable, but snug. I am exchanging for a size 9. Hopefully those will fit, but I would definitely recommend sizing up for this shoe.

I was so happy that these came back into stock and was sure to order as soon as I received the notification. They are perfect for summer and go with nearly every outfit. In the first handful to wears, I've experienced more blisters and discomfort than in other new shoes, but I can only imagine that this will decrease with more wear.

Very comfortable shoes, easy to break in. My ankles are towards the small size so the the straps are a little big but I would still buy another color

Beautiful sandal! Usually 9 and the 9.5 fit me. Lightweight and the platform is a perfect height- not to high and not too low. These will go with everything!

Loving the new sandals. The look is great, simple with a touch of style. I like the small platform. They seem to run a little bit small and the straps can feel a little snug after wearing them all day.

I love my sandals and would give them a 5/5 if they werent just a smidge too big. other than that they are basically perfect - stylish AND comfortable!

Pros: -No break-in time needed -Flatform sole is ideal for city walking -Velcro strap makes it easy to put on/take off -Bone color is super versatile Cons: -No arch support, would have liked a more cushioned footbed -Straps are pretty wide and cover a lot of the foot - on my 5.5 size feet, it looks a bit odd -The size 6 is slightly too big for me - I normally wear 5/5.5 in sandals, but they don't make smaller than 6 :(

I love the look of these shoes and am bummed they did not work out. I tried an 8 and an 8.5. My high instep made it so I could not get my foot in far enough.

These shoes are beautiful! Love the almond leather. They go with everything and have the perfect amount of height. Easy to dress up or down. However, they seem to run a tad small. Im a true to size 10 and the 10 on these are a bit too small and Im disappointed they dont offer a 10.5 and I think the size 11 would be too big. Besides the sizing issue, they are the perfect summer shoe!

I didn't really know or think that I had wide feet until these sandals! For shoe size, I'm generally between a 7.5-8, so I first ordered these in a 7.5, my usual size for sandals, but the sandals were both too narrow and too "short" length-wise for me. I was able to exchange for a size 8 (very easily I must add! great job Nisolo!!) which fixed the actual sizing problem for me, but the shoes are still SO narrow. I think they are wearable, but I am pretty shocked because I have never had this experience with any pair of sandals before. It just feels like the sides of my feet are always slipping off a bit and not fully supported. Also, there were some scuff marks / scratches on the top of the leather straps, which is not a huge deal but also not ideal for "new" shoes. All of this combined with the price is why I have to give 4 stars even though I do like the shoes.

I am a huge fan of Nisolo, so when I saw they came out with flatform sandals I knew I had to get them! They have one of the most comfortable foot beds and I spent 8 hours standing in them without any back/foot pain! Took off one star because the strap doesn't tighten enough around my ankle!

Beautiful shoe, great runaround summer sandal, but runs bizarrely narrow and short. I'm a consistent 8.5, haven't bought any other shoe size in years, but these just barely keep my heels on the platform and the sides of my feet overhang the sole of the shoe. Will definitely size up to a 9.

I am in the process of returning the size 8's that I got and receiving the 8.5's. nisolo recommends that you go with your normal size which for me is an eight but sometimes I do need to size up to and eight and a half if the shoe runs particularly narrow. My biggest problem with this shoe was my instep. If you have a high instep I would definitely consider sizing up a half size. I'm hoping the larger size will accommodate this as they are a beautiful shoes. I love nisolo!

Love these sandals! In the waddling stage of my pregnancy and they're very supportive to wear at work all day. I got the desert rose color and they're so cute. Definitely go an ENTIRE size up. I'm an 8 and thought an 8.5 would be safe but still too small. Exchanged for a 9 and fits just right.

love these! super comfortable but ran slightly too small. had to exchange for a 1/2 size up that I wear in their other shoes

I love these sandals - they're super comfy and look so cute dressed up or down. My reason for 4 stars is because (like almost all of my Nisolo's) these tend to run really narrow. An 8.5 would have been the perfect length for me, but my feet were hanging off the sides so I ended up going up to a 9. I still love & highly recommend these sandals, I'm just hoping Nisolo's able to eventually offer wide sizing :)

If youre a half size, just order up. Itll save you multiple exchanges. Im usually a 7 so thats what I ordered and when they were too small I went to a 7.5 and there was zero difference between the 2 shoes. The 7 and the 7.5 are exactly the same. Ive never ordered a shoe in a size 8 but here we are! These shoes are so cute and so comfy! Save yourself the trouble and just size up!

These shoes are so lovely and the sky grey is even more beautiful in person. I typically wear between 8.5 and 9 with Nisolo. I have wide feet and typically Nisolo shoes run a bit too narrow for me. I was hoping the sandals wouldn't be an issue, but I was very surprised how narrow they were. My feet hang off both sides. The 8.5 were also a bit too short, and typically 8.5 fit fine in length for me. So I would definitely say they run small, and will work better if you have narrow feet. I'm worried I won't be able to make these work, which is disappointing because I was hoping these would be an every day summer shoe.

Cute walking sandal with lots of cushion which was exactly what I was looking for. Love that the straps are velcro. I do wish they were a bit less casual-looking on because they are high quality and the price reflects that, but the platform dresses them down a bit. A tradeoff I'm willing to make though.

They are cute and fit true to size for me. The straps aren't as soft as I had hoped. They are cute, but not that wow. I should have bought a different color, but since they fit ok I kept them.

I live in a city and got these sandals for the summer. It took about a day to break in and stretch out a little but overall are comfortable and stylish. The leather got a little scuffed already but hoping it's no big deal

These shoes are so beautiful in person. The soles are also amazingly comfortable. The only downside to these shoes is that I have high arches and it was a challenge to get the top leather strap to go over my foot. It is a little snug, not a perfect fit because of that. Once I got them on to wear I felt like I could wear them around, they were fine. I considered returning but once they are on they really are comfortable and cute.. . I mean should one blame the foot and or the shoe? Haha like Cinderella. Either way...they are fantastic shoes just dont fit my feet as well as I would like.

I LOVE these shoes! I bought them for a wedding that I'm in, but they are also casual enough to wear daily. They are also extremely comfortable! I'm 5' 11" so I'm glad that they only give me one extra inch of height so that I'm not a giant. If I could change one thing, I would exchange the velcro closure with a buckle instead. I'm not a huge fan of velcro, but other than that these shoes are AWESOME and I would recommend them to anyone.
