Just received my new Tour Alpha's and am writing this having just finished my first round wearing them. I could not be more pleased - let me explain. The course condition today was extremely wet - the shoe is definitely water proof which with a Footjoy 2 year waterproof warranty did not surprise me. What did surprise me a bit was how comfortable the shoe was "right out of the box". With the wet course conditions we were in cart path only mode today - which on our course, as with most, means walking a LOT - so I threw a pair of my old shoes in the cart just in case I needed to change. I absolutely didn't need to change - which frankly exceeded my expectations for two reasons. Our course is hilly so I was a little concerned about the firm heel causing discomfort- it did not. My other comfort concern was the spikes. I've been wearing spike-less shoes for a year and a half but had ZERO issues with the Alpha's spikes - and again I walked a lot today because of the wet cart path only course conditions. Finally re: the wetness I NEVER once had an issue with my feet slipping and it was wet today. Based on the many reviews I read pre-purchase - this didn't surprise me - but one never knows for sure. Is the shoe heavier than most, yes. Is it too heavy, not for me. 5 stars to FootJoy on this model. I'll be buying a 2nd pair soon.

After trying various makes, all claiming a wide fit, it is Footjoy that can actually say theirs is a genuine wide fit. The tour alphas are probably the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever worn. I have five days of rounds in Scotland in May to really test them, but love them so far!

Comfortable and great stability even on wet turf.

Love these golf shoes. The minute I slipped them on, it was comfort at its best. I would have preferred the boa design but they didn't have any in size 13. My last foot joys lasted 5 years and I'm 290 lbs and usualky golf 45+ rounds per year. Although in the winter the rounds are indoor.

My Third Pair, Great Stability and Fit, I had five pairs of Pro SL's and the new/old last did not seem to agree tried 11W, 10.5 XW and 11.5 W They all worked, but I like having the ability to change spikes as opposed to changing shoes. Having Sudsy, my locker room guy, clean up and re-spike my two pairs in February, as restaurant and clubhouse operation's are closed for us in January. Course has been open for walkers, a few days, of which I am one, a few holes are closed for drainage issues and repair. Greens are in great shape and open. In closing, the last in the Tour Alpha 11W, agrees with my foot and there was no need to replace my shoes this winter. Looking for more colors? would like to have 5 pairs will have to check if customization is available? I have the black, wish they had a white sole, the White grey, heel is great and now have the White Red striping and Navy heel. Will wear the new ones right out of the box, no break in needed, if we get some decent days here in February in at BCC in New Jersey.

A great looking shoe, with the fit only FootJoy provides. The sole and spike system make for great grip and stability.

Just opened the box, haven't had a chance to use them yet. They look great! Kind of a cross between classic style and sporty.

Only played one round so far, but the stabilized heel is just what I needed. It takes the pressure off my knees by maintaining alignment. I purchase from the FJ website since none of the retailers carried the blue/gray model.

These are my second pair of foot joy Just used them once they feel great an i walk the course. I'm 6'5" 275 an they work well for me

Great shoe preventing me from rolling on the edge of my right foot. Spectacular stability and assist with weight transfer. Lightweight. Wonderful when walking 18.

Beautiful shoe. Good support. It is a narrow fit sonI got a wide which fits better. The shoe is firm and will hold your foot in place

No better shoe made than Footjoy! It's what they do. I have never had a shoe from anyone else last as long as their Tour series. The comfort and feel are superb. The only way it could feel any better is if I upgraded to one with the boa system.

I love how these shoes have a strong foundation and help me keep my balance during my swing. They have improved my stability, allowing me to swing smooth and fast.

No better shoe on the market then FootJoy!! Never has been, never will be! Darn good looking and always to size. I have tried others for reasons that escape me and have never been as satisfied as I am with FJ!!

#sweepstakes I had a pair of under armor golf shoes before these and there is a night and day difference between the shoes. These are so comfortable. This had made me a foot joy fan from here on out with as comfortable as these shoes are. 36 holes later and your feet still feel great

I bought a white pair two months ago and thought they were so comfortable that I bought a black pair this month!

I golf 3-4 rounds a week if I can and these shoes have been amazing from day 1 and have never hurt my feet. The insoles form to your feet and the loop on the back of the shoe makes getting on very easy. I had the Tour X before these and they are very similar but these are definitely a step about the Tour X's. I would say its always worth that extra $ to get the top line of shoe.
