Great fit, great comfort as always with FootJoy shoes. I wore these shoes for one round and upon cleaning them with a damp cloth found the leather on one shoe had separated about one half inch long right at the sole. I have contacted FootJoy and spoke with a CSR and emailed him pictures at his request. I will be returning this pair for a refund and will buy another pair. I am disappointed that the CSR did not email me back about my issue or comment as to the pictures that were requested.

For a wide shoe, they feel narrow and are a little too chunky feeling for my liking

I play over 100 rounds of Golf per year. I continue to look for golf shoes that have and offer MAXIMUM support and stability since I have really bad Ankles from years of work. I find that this concept of shoes help me continue to enjoy Golf, but these lack the firm soles that I have enjoyed in Footjoy shoes of the past!!!

The shoe was very nice, however the leather strip attached to the heel had stitching that contacted the back of heel causing raw skin and blisters. Unable to break them in because of stitching.
FJ did exchange them based on comfort guarantee. Very happy they allowed exchange!!!

Tried multiple sizes in extra wide, but at least for me this shoe is unwearable even as a cart shoe because of how narrow the toe box is. I think it would be a high performing golf shoe with a proper fit.

I received these and tried to walk 18 in them. By the third hole my heels were burning where the heel strap attaches to the padding. I ended up with huge blisters on both feet. I have worn pro sl in the past. These shoes have a serious design flaw on the upper heel area. Not happy considering the price of these so called premium shoes.

liked the look of the shoes but there is zero cushioning for back of heal. Admittedly I have issues with back of my heals but this particular shoe has zero padding/cushioning it that area and it felt like my heal was rubbing against a very hard abrasive surface that caused almost instant pain. I've had other Footjoy shoes in past and had hoped to return to the fold but knew that the Alpha was not the one.

Great looking shoe unfortunately I have a challenge finding shoes that fit my small and x wide foot. Foot Joy is the only shoe company I am aware of that has shoes in my size. I wore the Tour Alpha around the house for a couple hours and unfortunately they hugged the outer ankle on both my feet causing a constant an uncomfortable rub so I returned with no problem. The FJ staff is very accommodating and helpful.

Having bought this golf shoe March 2022 and only use from October to March. Use white shoes in the summer. The shoe is very comfortable and if they didn't get the soles of my feet wet I would recommend them.
The shoes are in tip top condition, (except they now leak) well looked after, cleaned and polished after every use.
Alas for me because they are outside the warranty period Footjoy not interested.
Have been using Footjoy for many years and this is the first pair that have leaked in the first two years.
Disappointed.

I have worn Footjoy shoes almost exclusively for the last ten years and that entire time I have always been a size 8.5. So, I ordered a pair of these through my course in size 8.5. They felt a little big but I thought it was the design so I tried them out and kept trying them until I got to a PGA superstore and tried them on in a size 8. I tried on additional Footjoy shoes and I am now a size 8 in Footjoy instead of an 8.5. Nice that Footjoy has changed their sizing and it cost me some money. I gave away the shoes that were too big and now that I have these in an 8 they are very comfortable and I would recommend but only if you are able to try them on first.

I wear a 10 B dress shoe. I ordered a 10 narrow in this shoe and they are still to wide. Had to put inter soles but foot still slides around. Not the greatest it you have a narrow foot.

I have wore the new golf shoes twice, and the left shoe, makes my foot ache while I'm playing golf after about 6 holes, and makes my left foot hurt. My other Foot joy shoes never gave me problems out of the box. Is there something with this make of shoe? I would have bought The Premier shoe instead of purchasing this shoe.

I've had to get these replaced as they broke within 12 months and were no longer waterproof.
However, this is not the main reason I wouldn't buy these shoes as sometimes products can be faulty (customer service was good and quick to help fix the issue). My main issue is price point. The price of the shoe comes in towards the top end of the shoe market, which is the reason behind my review. For this price I expect exceptional comfort. This is most definitely not the case. There are a few shoes in the market, which are more moderately priced, I have tried recently that are head and shoulders above this product. I think this is a really key point as we wear these shoes for multiple hours. When visiting different courses and they are up and down hills, these shoes can become very uncomfortable.
On the flip side, if you aren't bothered by this, they are sturdy, grip the ground really well when wet and look the part. For these reasons, you can't fault the shoe.

I've owned numerous pairs of Footjoys without any issues. The tour alphas are actually the most comfortable pair I've owned but they absolutely tear up my heels. I usually walk 18 at twice a week, sometimes more and my heels are destroyed from wearing these. Cuts, blood, & blisters. It's outrageous and such a shame because these shoes are awesome otherwise. I'm gonna have to get a different pair of shoes unfortunately. Don't buy these if you do a lot of walking on the course.

Pros: stylist, great traction and durability, easy to clean
Cons: Hurt feet and rub on the back of my heel every time I play, so much so it removed skin
I no longer were these shoes after less than a year. I've had FJ in the past and they've been great but which these I'm going to move to a different brand. I cannot have ripped up heels that take weeks to recover from (skin to grow back)

Like other reviewers I to suffered from painful wear on the back of my heels. This is unfortunate because when I tried them on at the golf shop they felt very comfortable and stable when only taking a couple steps. However, when I walked my first 18 wearing them, after the first hole it was apparent that the discomfort in the heel was going to be a problem. I waited a couple days and tried to walk another 18 and ended up having to stop at the turn and change shoes, it was unbearable.
This whole situation saddens me because this was my first pair of FJ shoes and I've heard nothing but good things about their shoes. I'm waiting for my exchange for FJ Premier-Field shoes to be shipped to me. Fingers crossed these fit better, otherwise I may have to resolve to going with a differed brand

Returned these shoes. The shoe is deeper than my Tour S shoes. As a result they rub on my ankle bone. Other than that they are nice shoes.

I reviewed the white blue and red pair see my full review there. I bought two pair for a golf trip and both rubbed blisters on bottom side of my ankles.

I ordered these and a black for a golf trip. I had an old pair of hyper flex that I loved. This shoe is not that comfortable both par rubbed blisters on the bottom Side of my ankles. The golf trip was for days. I had blisters day one. I have played 2 rounds in each shoe. I wish Foot Joy would swap them out for something different. That's a good bit of money to spend on two pair of golf shoes that hurt your feet. Thank goodness I kept my worn out hyper flex. Played in them twice since returning from golf trip.

The low side of my left ankle (right-handed) gets a blister because the upper rim is too high. Two of my friend also had this problem. We cut the top of the left shoe rim off approx 1/2 inch to stop this.
All three of us have issues with the width and foot cramping. My left shoe is great but the right shoe cramps my toe's joints after 3 holes!!
The third issue is with the back heal pull up and all of us have gotten blisters because this extra leather strap cuts high up on your heal. We all have stretched the shoes after soaking in water and the back issue is fine now but the toe joints are still a major pain after 3-4 holes. All of my golf shoes are from FootJoy but this shoe design is trouble!

Nice shoe but fit was poor so I returned them for refund. I will say the return process was simple and I was refunded my money quickly
