My son really likes these shoes, but they don’t last. I purchased these sneakers on March 9th. Not even two months in and the Velcro doesn’t stick anymore. The loops on the back of the shoe ripped off too. Terrible sneaker. Wouldn’t recommend. Waste of money.

The shoe was great until the heel of the shoe broke. It is reinforced with a brittle plastic and my son broke after wearing the shoes maybe a dozen times.

Wish I had read the reviews about the Velcro before buying! Totally accurate! Works for 3 months then stops working. I expected better quality from New Balance!

I agree with the other reviews that mentioned the failed Velcro. It stopped attaching after a month or so of wear. Super disappointing.

My grandson loved the look of the shoes but after wearing them a few times he complained that the Velcro won’t stay closed. I checked and he is right. There is no way to wear them. A total waste of money. I wish I had read the other reviews mentioning this issue before purchasing.
