Was too big. My son’s heal was slipping out. I’d recommend getting half a size down. Otherwise it seemed ok, nice looking shoe and I liked the slip on/off tag at the back since my son never undoes the velcro/laces.

New balance has been around and we value their innovation and quality. These shoes were purchased for a 8 year old boy so my opinion about comfort can not be given. But the style looks good. Had to purchase a little big due to half sizes out of stock. But other than that issue he is enjoying his new kicks.

They look dirty on week one, so I'm not sure if it is the material or what's going on. I'm told they are comfortable, but was hoping they'd look nice longer.

The shoes ran larger than I expected and the strap by the tongue of the shoes really dug into my skin. I tried returning these and it was impossible to get in contact with anyone, when I finally was able to get help, I learned that NB doesn't do a full refund, they don't give you back shipping costs! Wasted my time and money ($12 shipping!!!!!!!). I will never order shoes online from here again!

Size and feel was great. I bought these same shoes for my son twice because he really liked them. The problem the first time and now the second time is that the Velcro is so cheap that it doesn’t work after just a few months.

So frustrating. I didn’t believe my son at first that they were staying velcroed together but sure enough after I connected them several times they would completely become undone again. A waste of money! They look great and seem to be good shoes but if they don’t stay secure, what’s the point? Hard to believe the velcro is that bad.

The fit and size were fine. But the velcro strap did not stick. It keeps coming up. I've always been happy with New Balance shoes for my kid, but this is the first time I've been disappointed in the quality of its product.

My son really likes these shoes, but they don’t last. I purchased these sneakers on March 9th. Not even two months in and the Velcro doesn’t stick anymore. The loops on the back of the shoe ripped off too. Terrible sneaker. Wouldn’t recommend. Waste of money.

My grandson loved the look of the shoes but after wearing them a few times he complained that the Velcro won’t stay closed. I checked and he is right. There is no way to wear them. A total waste of money. I wish I had read the other reviews mentioning this issue before purchasing.
