I have a 2 year old pair of New Balance golf shoes which fit fine. I ordered the same size in the Contend model and it's sunstantially shorter. Even tried one half size larger with a second order and it's still too small. The next size up is on its way.

Size ran one size to small. Good looking shoe New Balance team very efficient on return of 1st pair and providing next larger size. Disappointed in comfort level, very firm cushioning effect, firmer than my Adias Hyperflex. I am looper CARRY my Bag, comfort of my shoe is important

These shoes are worn exclusively for golf. They are the same size (9 4EEE) as many other pairs of New Balance sneakers and golf shoes that I have worn over the years. It seems that New Balance has widened the 4EEEE size as this pair is swimingly wide. I have not returned or exchanged them because I'm afraid 2EE will be too narrow and I prefer too wide over too narrow!

I have only purchased New Balance athletic shoes, (running and golf) because of their consistent fit. The most recent purchase of golf shoes (9.5 4E) arrived and the toe box is narrower than the similar sized running shoes. I can not insert my full size orthotics in the shoes and wear them comfortably on the golf course. I have tries wearing thinner socks, which did not help.

I am on my 3rd pair of fresh foam walking shoes and love them. I could not wait to try my new fresh foam golf shoes! Quite disappointing. The shoes are fine but not nearly as comfortable as my walking shoes. Also run much smaller

I ordered a size bigger as original pair with my normal size was way small. The size bigger still hurt my feet when I walked a round. My foot joys were more comfy.

I am a big New Balance fan. I desire a wider shoe and New Balance always delivers. However, this golf shoe cushioning was less that i would expect from New Balance. I may try new insoles. I like the grip.

I have several pairs of New Balance 'tennis shoes', all in 8.5 Extra Wide. They all fit great, very comfy. However, a few reviewers suggested these particular golf shoes run a little small. Yup! Ordered 8.5 Extra Wide and they are just a smidge too small. I actually decided to keep them, but after 2 rounds of golf I realized they just weren't working out. Soooo, returning them and getting the same shoe in a 9 Extra Wide. Fingers crossed that they will fit!

Very comfortable shoe but not waterproof my feet got wet

A very nice shoe but, there's always a but. Mine comes from the fact that I'm a very, senior man. This shoe replaced another Nubalance golf shoe that finally fell apart after many years of service and many trips to the shoe repair because I just didn't want to give them up. So, what's the BUT? Laceses! Mine old pair had valcrow closers. I wish these did. That's it.

I've been wearing standard-width New Balance 608 cross-trainers (size 7.5) for years. I have a semi-wide foot and they're excellent. Unfortunately, that's not the case with the golf shoes. Standard width is far too narrow. I returned the shoes and hope to order the wide-width ones. However, New Balance is out of stock and I hope they get them in soon.

Have always purchased NB in extra wide 4 E but the sizing is much smaller and not as wide. Had to send them back.

I purchased 2 pairs for a friend and i who play 2-3 rounds walking every week in Ohio. These shoes, though they have a "2 year waterproof" claim did not make it beyond our first hour during our first round wearing them!?? He remarked that he really wanted to like these as they were the most comfortable golf shoe he has worn, and i concur. I gave a 2 star review for style and mostly comfort. If you do not care if your feet are soaked, then these are the shoes for you! Good luck!!

All in all, I love the look and feel of these shoes. I was thrilled that they were going to be joining my lineup in 2022. However, after the first couple rounds walking with these shoes I had an odd soreness that I ignored, and my the 4th round it became obvious something was wrong. My Achilles of my right foot became inflamed and extremely sore. Like painful to walk sore the day following this round. I figured it must have been a size issue as the width and everything felt good. So I purchased a 2nd pair, the 2nd being 1/2 size larger. Unfortunately, yesterday was my first round in the newer, larger pair and the same issue is happening. My Achilles is extremely tender this morning, and yesterday I had to ice my heal. What's odd, there is nothing that I can detect that feels uncomfortable about the shoe, but there's clearly something about how this is designed that seemingly puts some added pressure on the heel of the foot. Just a word of caution. I'm just disappointed as I really loved everything about these shoes, but know long term this is going to be a massive issue for me if I continued to wear these shoes when walking a round of golf.
