This pretty slingback in my usual 8.5 M fit perfectly, no tightness across the vamp and my left big toe joint, and no slipping in the right heel. I tried to also get the similar cut pump with closed heel, but the vamp was a smidgen tighter and hurt my left foot. This slingback is beautiful and will give me a reasonably supportive shoe with a dressed-up style. My arches are flat and my left foot pronates, straining that ankle, so I always have to have a deep-heel footbed with good arch support....and a low heel of no more than an inch or 1 1/2 inch...and I need a vamp that does not cut across or press tightly on the top of my left toe joint. I have not worn them outside yet, only walked around the house on carpet, but these shoes have been very comfortable.

I was very pleased with the appearance of these shoes, and when I tried them on at home and walked around on carpet for a while, they felt perfectly comfortable. However, when I put them on to wear to church a few days later, the upper edge of the shoe cut into my foot so that I could hardly stand to walk in them. I was already at church, so had no choice but to keep wearing them, but they were killing my feet! I don’t know why there was such a difference between having them on at home and wearing them out, but I will have to see if I can adjust to them somehow. :( So disappointed!!

I purchased the Trotters Dea first in black and I love them so much that I ordered the red. They fit great and are the cutest shoe design. They have a 11/2 inch heel and a square toe bed which I also love. This is the first time that I have purchased a Trotters brand. They are comfortable for sure.

These stylish open back flats are so comfortable and fit perfect. Also, the leather is soft which helps. They will look good with so many outfits. I’m glad I waited for them.

This is my third color in this shoe. I can wear this shoe all day without any discomfort, and they look very professional. I am glad I found these show=es.

Trotters WW shoes are inconsistent in width, sometimes they fit and sometimes they do not, in this case they did not.

I was so disappointed! I have been looking for a low-heeled, closed-toe dress shoe in an extra wide width and thought this was finally it. The 7.5 WW was a bit too snug so I ordered the 8 WW. If I had been able to adjust the back strap fully, I would have been thrilled with them. Unfortunately, the strap tapers and becomes too wide to go through the buckle to reach the tightest adjustments. Additionally, the holes in the strap were off-center which surprised me as I have found Trotters to be a well-made shoe in the past. For the cost of this shoe, I expected better execution in the details.

These are pretty shoes but are not true to size. I ordered my normal size of 8.5M but they are way too small. Please send me the same shoe/color in a size 9M. Thank you.

The shoes squeezed my toes!

What happened to Trotters Dea? I've purchased this shoe in the past and had no problems at all. IT DEFINITELY NOW RUNS A HALF SIZE SMALLER THAN THE SIZE SPECIFIED. MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE TOE BOX IS INSANELY AND PAINFULLY SHALLOW. I tried the shoe in my normal size 8M, as well as in 8.5M, 8W and 8.5W. Going up a half size solved the size problem, but NOTHING changed the ridiculously shallow toe box. I never had this problem before. The toe box in my old Dea sling-backs are visibly higher than the new ones. I had to return all 4 pairs and was disappointed to have to do so because the Dea is a very nice style, particularly the woven sling-back.

I have worn other Trotters shoe in the past, but It seems that Trotters have changed their sizing and I can no longer were them

Both shoes came with color rubbed off on sling backs and backs of shoes.

Overall a lovely shoe. Its nice they had width options for those of us with wide feet.

I have very wide feet and find it very hard to find a cute shoe. This shoe actually fits and I can wear it for hours. I will most likely be ordering another similar style.

The shoe is too tight and the color does not suit. However, Trotter is my go to shoe.

Stylish and comfortable. Able to keep them on all night long out dancing.
