These are cute shoes. I had hoped they would be wider in the forefoot as are most Birks. But they are too narrow and squished my foot. . They are not cushy but have removable insoles if you need something softer.

I am very sad. I love the style of this shoe and the material is beautiful , but I tried three times to get the right fit and did not succeed. Normally I am a 40 in Birkenstock, with a relatively wide foot, so I tried a 40 Reg first (in the brown leather). Too big all around. Okay, I thought, I'll try the narrow. I went with the pink suede this time. Still way too long and a bit wide. Third try I got the pink suede in a 39 narrow. The arch fit was perfect but the shoes were too short, and too narrow for my left foot. I guess pretty as these shoes are, they're not for me.

I love Birkenstock sandals so I hoped the shoes would be just as good but sadly the fit was not the same. The narrow was not as narrow as I hoped which made the overall fit poor. They are very cute but sadly I had to return them.

I really wanted the Bend to work and was really happy with the light pink color. I wear a 41 regular in the AZ sandle. When ordering the Bend in size 41, my toes were hitting the toe box and returned for a 42. With the 42, had no issues with the toe box, nor was the shoe too narrow for me. The issue with the 42 was that my right foot didn't fit the shoe bed comfortably. The shoes are more stiff and heavy than a regular sneaker, and that didn't bother me a bit. I may need to try a mens sneaker for proper fit.

Love the brand but this shoe ran very small. My usual 39 was way too short. As the color and style were appealing, I replaced them with a 40 which, although long enough, presented a very high heel area. Unwearable.

These were just way too heavy for an athletic shoe. If you are just going to be walking around on short errands they are fine, like urban streetwear maybe. These seem to weigh as much as leather hiking boots, and I am just used to lightweight athletic shoes that feel like I am not wearing shoes. I also don't like how high the sides come up, they really chaffed me.

I have severe arthritis in my feet, knees and back. Usually a firm shoe supports all three areas. I cannot wear an overly soft, bouncy shoe. However these definitely made my feet ache after a short wear. I was very disappointed because I can and do enjoy wearing Birkenstock Arizonas.

These Birkies are stiff right out of the box, look clunky and the shoe laces are so long! I was really hoping to like these but have to return. A better option is Dr. Sholl's similar looking shoe.

I was going to get another pair of these Birkenstock bends because they have been so comfortable but in 5 months of use the bottom soles became sticky and despite scrubbing it didnt take away the stickiness so everytime I walk they make a sticky noise. Most likely from their choice of rubber.

Arch and sole too prominent and hard—hurt my feet

These are the most uncomfortable heavy shoes I have encountered. They were like wearing boats.

Shoes were clearly worn. Someone tried to clean the shoes and damaged the suede. Very disappointed. Will return and hopefully a NEW pair will be delivered promptly.

The shoes look cool in the design sense. I’ve had several pairs in this style in different colors. I read a recent review the berkenstock had changed their sizing. I thought what? Why? I’ve been wearing these shoes for literally forty years. Yes I’m an old hippy. Sadly, when I saw the list and found they were offered in narrow instead of regular I took the plunge. They run small! Just what you would think. No regular offered. Am I crazy?
