These shoes actually would have been perfect but as other reviewers have stated, there is a good size lump for your arch, that doesn’t have any give. I have a high arch and these were uncomfortable. I’m so sad, I thought the fit and heel height was perfect.

I have a very narrow foot, so even with the adjustable toe strap tightened to the end, they were still too big.

Loved the shoe. Fit well. BUT, the arch was too high and too hard and hurt my foot. And I have a high arch so was surprised.

While I have wide feet, Dansko's used to fit great. Lately however, I find particularly sandals cut into the outside edge of my foot, painful. I love that these are leather and were pretty cute, alas they hurt.

This shoe is beautiful and comfortable, but the strap around the heel is much too large and foot slipped out easily no matter how tight I tightened it.

I didn't realize that all the fastenings are velcro on this shoe. It is nice that you can adjust the back strap, but I didn't like the feel and look of it overall.

Really a pretty sandal and color. The only reason I'm returning is there are too many velcro adjustments around the ankle strap. Just trying them on at home I'd find a good fit and then they would be loose by the time a walked across the room. I'm afraid that once the leather stretches these will be unwearable. I do think that these would be a nice choice for those that require a plus size ankle.

I wanted to love these as the are very cute and stylish, but found them a bit wide and the Velcro closure did not feel like it would be secure so I returned them.

The fits was fine but the material was much cheaper than my last pair.

I really wanted these to fit. The shoes are attractive and the support is very comfortable. I should have heeded the other reviews, because I had the same problem others did. The velcro does not allow enough adjustment for a secure fit on a narrow foot. I have a similar shoe (Joanie) from Dansko, which has been my favorite sandals for several years, and I wanted to replace them. They have real buckles! Much better.

Cute sandals but the Velcro ankle strap doesn’t adjust small enough, and the Velcro pops open while walking. Other Dansko sandals do not have these problems.

All three areas of the shoe I’ve got Velcro with fake buckles on the top and underneath it’s very late Velcro so when you walk up the stairs, Velcro pops off- are we getting too lazy to tie shoes or buckle sandals this anymore? Please everyone right to Dansko and ask them to go back to buckles because Velcro tears apart especially when you’re hiking and wears down so it’s not as shoe can have for years.

Dansko has changed the functional buckles to velcro with faux buckles leaving little room for adjustment. When I tried to tighten the shoe and the velcro was no longer perfectly lined up, the shoe kept coming undone when I walked. I have owned several pairs of Dansko's but it looks like I will need to find a different shoe.

I missed the part where it said the straps are Velcro based - so you can’t change the fit bc the buckle is just for looks. The are super comfortable and cute but using velcro for the strap is disappointing especially bc it doesn’t feel very secure.

Arch support was odd _ very hard. Truely uncomfortable to walk in because of location of support and extreme hardness. Cute style, great color but must return.

This shoe was much too long in length and the sole was very hard. Had to return.

If you have thin feet, and I do not mean narrow feet, this sandal is not for you. There is not enough Velcro to tighten the top strap to give a secure fit. In addition the Velcro kept undoing when I walked. The arch is a bit higher than I expected. I did like that the inside foot bed is covered with leather which is rare now a days!

This shoes has no obvious cushoining. The sole is wood, there is no flexibility. The leather straps cut into my foot, might soften with use. However, the shoe is as uncomfortable as wearing wooden sabots.

These shoes are disappointing. They have not cushioning (that I can perceive), the leather is sharp against my foot, might soften with time however, wearing these shoes feels like wearing wooden clogs! For $25.00 I might go ahead and suffer, but for $140.00 - no way! They're going right back.

returning- sole has hard lump that hurts my arch area. i loved the rest of the shoe.

I loved the look and fit. Especially with the narrow straps and three velcro adjustment areas. Unfortunately, the sole was sculpted into a hard arch support that hurt my feet. I was super disappointed - Dansko, more cushion, less rock hardness please! my my other Danskos have a much more comfortable sole.
