Wide calf ladies please do yourself a favor and try these boots! I have wide calves and I've never been able to buy tall boots. I always wanted a pair for concerts and rodeos and I finally found some that work! The elastic section is hidden. They were snug in the foot so I wished I would've gone a half size up, but I did not break them in before wearing them. Hopefully they stretch with wear. Very cute boots though, I wore with cut offs to a concert and definitely want the black ones too!

Beautiful boot! I agree they are darker than what's pictured online and in other reviewer's photos. I wish I could include pictures with my review, but I don't have the option anywhere! I was looking for my first -and probably only- ever pair of cowboy boots. Style, comfort, and durability matter! I was recommended Ariats to be versatile enough for a Nashville bachelorette party from country music events to dancing and horseback riding. I have wide-ish calves and normal width feet, so the description sounded spot on for me, plus I am especially drawn to light-medium shades of warm brown, and contrasted with ivory stitching, these immediately caught my eye and lived in my head! I like modern yet timeless designs, and ya'll- these fit the bill perfectly! Couldn't be happier I feel ready for anything with these babies! I am usually a 9.5 in sandals and heels while a 10 in sneakers and boots. I ordered a ten and they're TTS. They provide a firm, contoured arch support, fit snug around the ball and midfoot, and are a little loose surrounding the heel. Frankly, I prefer that: IMO, that makes them easier to slip on and off. I am told to wear them around the house with thick socks, since they're real leather, and they'll shape to my feet over time. The shaft circumference is perfect for my shapely calves: they're loose enough to be cute and tuck slim-fit jeans into for riding. I wouldn't tuck bootcuts into these but skinnier cowgirls could go so far as to tuck flares or wide-legs into these kickers, I'm sure. P.s. they arrive with anti-mold "stickers". I had to Google/Chatty-G these and turns out they're only for shipping/storage and should be discarded just like those moisture absorbing packets of beads.

Just got my boots in the mail. They are much darker than the photo like other reviewers mentioned. Not sure it's enough to make me send them back, I'm going to continue to look at them and decide. They are very comfortable right out of the box. I was advised by a staff member to go my normal shoe size, but do a wide. So glad I did, they are PERFECT! And not snug on my calves like all other boots this style that I've tried on.

These are amazing, just what I wanted. I have large calves and have trouble fitting in tall boots. These fit perfect. I'm in between size 8-8.5-9 on shoes and I went w a 9 after trying on some Arita styles at my local Farm and home store. I'm so glad I made this purchase, I know I will wear these for years to come.

I have a wide calf and boots are usually hard to find. These girls fit amazingly and I even have some room to spare!! I can't wait to wear them out.

They're lovely with the details I wanted, heel shape, design, etc. First time I wore them I walked 3 miles in New York City, was entirely comfortable. Also appreciate the extra calf room. Overall very happy with these.

I have always had a hard time finding great quality wide size boots with a calf for comfort but these are great. They not only look good with any outfit but were comfortable with hardly any "break-in" time needed. I wore them for the first time for a trip to Nashville and had no issues. That is saying a lot since I wore them all day and night multiple days in a row!

I have the calf and a high in step these boots are fantastic and so many ways they're super easy to break in. They're really was no break-in. They're absolutely absolutely so comfortable. I wear them all the time I bought them to go to a dude ranch and I love love love them do not have any doubts on buying these boots.

I love and adore these boots! I needed a bit more width in the calf so ordered these boots. They are simply perfect. The gussets are hidden well so you don't look like you had to have, "special boots", to fit you. They are super comfortable as well. I am so proud of my purchase that I now create outfits around my boots!

Didn't have to break them in. Love all my Ariat boots. No disappointment here. They fit my giant calves, wore a good boot socks and had no issues with any rubbing, soreness, or blisters!

I love my boots so much!!! The most comfortable boots I own! I have 2 pairs the black and the darker brown. The calf width is perfect for my athletic calves. I JUST WISH THEY WOULD MAKE THEM IN WHITE AND PINK! I WOULD DEFINETELY ADD THEM TO MY COLLECTION

They are not as wide calf as I thought they would be but they are comfortable. They have a softer heel so no clicking when you walk. Color is perfect a little darker in person. But all in all happy with the product.

I love these boots! I am in between a standard size calf and a wide calf. Typically wide is too big and standard is just too tight these are perfect. And they have plenty of stretch if you have a bigger calf.

Love my boots ..I wore them the first day for 8.5 hrs . No issues . As a former gymnast with big calves these gave me plenty of room .. I am also flat footed so they give me an arch . Great already ordered the same boots in blacl .

Saw these boots in Fort Worth and did not purchase them then. Decided to purchase them after I got home and boy are they comfortable! Very stylish as well!
