Body is good, sleeves are tight for those of us who are a bit matronly

I was a little surprised at how high the waist cinch is on this jacket. I'm not sure why it is that high? Overall the jacket does look a bit bulky when worn. I tested the waterproofness and it works as intended. I guess we shall see if it stands the test of time and continues to be as waterproof over the years.

This rain jacket may be effective but it looks baggy and rumpled on and the waist adjustment, which might have pulled it in, is too high. I am quite thin so maybe the extra room works for different body types, but I didn't like it at all.

Fit is weird. The middle where the draw string is is set very high.

This coat was just meh for me. I am 5'9" and the waist string was too high and looked super weird, I also found the jacket kinda short. I did like the string on the hood but that's as far as pros went for me so I returned it.

I was really excited to get this jacket, but it smells awful! I hoped that letting it air out would help, so I hung it in my bathroom with the fan on for about a day and a half. It still smelled gross, so I looked at the care instructions and threw it in the wash. It smells at least as bad post-wash as it did before--getting it wet might have even made the smell stronger, which especially concerns me in a raincoat. I don't normally leave reviews, but with Columbia's reputation and pricing, I expected a lot more. The coat looks cute, I just don't know that I could stand to wear it :(

Too much material, and waist drawstring set too high despite being a small person. Purchased smaller size but still too big and strange fit. For reference I'm 5'2" and 114 lb

Hiked 5 miles and was soaked. Not waterproof at all!

NOT WATERPROOF, I found this out the hard way, when I got trapped in the pouring rain. Why call it a green shell if it is not waterproof?! The description also says it's waterproof, it's not.

The fit of this garment was so far off the actual size ordered that I will never again order any article of clothing from the Columbus web site! If you cannot try their garments on prior to buying don't bother. This jacket was mfg. overseas - typical garment sizing runs smaller When mfg. in Asian countries but at least attempt to get somewhere in the ball park when selling to American end users.

Not a raincoat. Bought for traveling to Ireland where it rained everyday. Water soaked thru jacket.
