These socks are comfortable and colorful. They work great with tennis shoes or any casual dress shoe. I would not wear them with boots. The wool is very durable and almost impossible to wear out. I have some Smartwool socks like these that are over fifteen years old and still going strong.

Great fit and comfortable

Have been wearing Smartwool socks for years and years - year round. Have tried a pair or two from other wool blend manufacturers and they just don't hold up like Smartwool socks. Socks look good, too! Can't go wrong with a Smartwool sock!

What can I say? All of my work out socks are from Smart Wool. I like being able to pair my socks with different footwear. I have custom orthotics in some and these low ankle socks are just the right thickness to avoid a tight fit due to the orthotics, that tend to take up more space than the standard insoles. That's the technical aspect. The colors are fun, too. They also do not get drawn into the shoe like some low cuts do.

I used these at first for running only. But they are so incredible that I use them all of the time. Never thought I would be a sock nerd; however, these have got me hooked.

I use these socks for walking and even going out if I am wearing toed shoes. They are comfortable and stylish.
