So far, so good. The large size fits much better in this style than the medium. Comfortable, snug fit. Doesn't bind around the ankle. #sweepstakes

Bought multiple pairs at the same time in December, first warranty claim submitted for random holes on one pair. Disappointed given the price

Have lots of different sock styles from SW....love this one for gym, golf and running. Excellent product.

Great socks for summer. These have no cushioning which I prefer but hubby prefers a cushioned sock. These are a good weight for more casual activities.

These are pretty mediocre socks. They last me about a year before they start to get holes in them. I have a pair for each day of the week for work so they only get worn 52 times a year. The only reason these are worth it is because of the warranty.

Same amazing fit and comfort as the bike sox - still waiting to see if the "swallowed up and balled up under my foot" thing happens with these shorter versions...

These sure are light socks, however it seems that it comes with a price. Material doesn't feel great, isn't very stretchy and doesn't seem very efficient. Too bad the zero cushion get the best colors!

Very small for a large and the range they state. Max would be 11 not 12.

Not as much padding as I thought there would be; otherwise they're good socks

Although your regular socks size Large fit my husband well, and he loves them, the low ankle socks he just ordered in size L were too small, causing us to pay shipping back and forth for something that should have fit. Disappointing. I ordered the replacements from a source that didn't charge shipping.

Has sizing changed? Always buy Large but these new socks feel loose on the foot. No longer have the athletic snug feel of Smartwool socks.

Perfectly fine, but not out of the ordinary. Ludicrously over-priced!

The last order I made of this style of sock was very disappointing. Fabric composition has changed and is much less breathable and feels cheap, not like wool.

Too much Nylon results in hot feeling socks, almost at all times. I find that really annoying. They are durable though. The fit tightly and stay put for the most part, but why the loose feeling tabs on the front and back?? Those are pointless and make the sock feel weird. I am men's 12 and the large fits me well. Please make the black sock all black instead of hi vis green.

I have worn Smartwool socks for decades. I love them. However this low ankle sock I recently purchased online is very scratchy compared to all my other pairs. What happened?

I usually love smart wool socks but these were too light and not tight enough. Worried I would get blisters on a longer run. #sweepstakes

No one seems to make good quality fitting socks anymore. I am a 12 and after trying several sizes i decided to get the XXL. The problem is, they don't expand the opening size so it feels like they are cutting off your circulation at the ankle. They also ripped after a week of use.

These are hot, make you sweat, and make your shoe heavier. These are a gimmick and return g the three pair I bought. Balega Biden dry much better.

Long time Smartwool customer. That said, I think I'll start evaluating my alternatives. Pictured below is how one pair was sent to me from Smartwool. I purchased directly from them, as when I went to a big box retailer that carries these as well, I found two other pairs I planned to purchase with holes in them. It's one thing to have a manufacturing issue, but how this ended up in my hands without any quality control in place to prevent this, considering the price point, is more frustrating. Yet, when contacting SW instead of simply sending out a replacement pair ASAP (as that would be the expected bare minimum to make it right), when I ordered six total pairs on this order alone. They need the bad pair back first. Not a huge deal, but that's time I have to invest now for rectifying their mistake.

One of the few times I've written a negative review for Bean. The item fit well when I put it on, but shrank incredibly after the first wash. Not able to use it a second time. Maybe I can let my cat wear them this winter. Disappointed.

I have bought many smartwool socks in the past an my last shipment of these socks were off. I wore them one time then washed them. They shrank so much that they cut off my blood circulation in my feet. I would not buy again.

I consistently bought Smartwool socks because they were the only type that reduced feet sweat & were smooth & durable. I think it was the former Run PhD socks of previous years. This new material feels like every other synthetic sock on the market & makes me feet feel like they're on fire & sweat like crazy. Got five pairs for Xmas & planning to donate them all. Smartwool, please go back to how you used to make socks. These are terrible.
