Great socks with good amount of elastic to keep in place. Material does seem to have gotten a bit thinner than previous pairs I've had, but still a very good sock.

For trail running. Good fit. Not thick enough.

They run small, if you're on the cusp, definitely order up.

I wear a men's size 9 and the medium are too small. BUT, the run targeted cushion ankle sock in a medium is perfect. Explain that?! So, I will not ever buy the run zero cushion again. It has been a total waste of money, and I'm thoroughly disappointed because I don't have the money to waste.

I like the overall quality of the product, but I find this sock has the very annoying tendency to slide inside my shoes. The shoes are properly fitted and the socks are a perfect fit for my feet, nevertheless, I find there is perceptible slippage inside the shoe. I would not buy these again.

Sizing says medium fits 7-9, I'm a 7.5 and these are perfect size for me. Quality, these are thinner than my old zero cushion and the wool content feels very low, comparatively. Problem I see are seams at toe and heel are puckered. I bought 6pair and they are all the same. Wearing first time today and will report back if I need to return. I hope they are great.

If color is a reason you're buying the socks, then beware, color is not as presented.

I tried to re-purchase PHD PRO mini socks but they weren't available so I bought Run Zero Cushion Ankle socks instead; I don't like them; they are too lightweight and flimsy;

The 'zero cushion' should have been a clue. This sock is very thin. I have switched to the 'targeted cushion' version and am much happier!

Enjoyed these socks but are not as good as earlier PhD ultra light running socks which I can't seem to find. These are light but still bunch up and not as great for long runs.

I use these to walk the dog and general all day sock. I thought that these would work but I really need some cushion on the bottom of my socks. They feel and fit great but not as comfortable as I would like or need.

This newer version is much thinner than the last. So much so I did not wear them for my 50 miler last fall. Huge disappointment as I love the Smartwool product.

Purchased for my son, but it don't fit because he feet is quite wide. Wide feet be aware. Quality is excellent as usual, but sadly had to return it. The return is easy and quick!

These used to be my favorite socks. I wore them every day. I recently bought some new ones, though, and it's clear that the fabric has changed. The new ones I bought are itchier, not as comfortable, and they shrink much more than the old ones did when washed. They also don't seem to regulate the temperature of my feet as well. This is so disappointing! I actually went to a brick and mortar retailer to see that carries Smartwool to see if I could find any of the old, good socks, and I noticed that for the same style here was a mix. Some pairs had the old, good fabric. Some pairs had the new, terrible fabric. So, I'm thinking Smartwool is in the process of phasing out the old stuff. So, if you can find any of the old fabric versions, buy them. They're the best socks I've ever worn. The new ones, on the other hand, should be avoided. They are quite bad.

I am a size 12. 6'2", 240 lbs. and fit. These socks are marginally large enough for me and really too tight. The seam at the Y is already separating. I have purchase these for years, but this will be the last.

These feel great on, light and breathable. However, it feels like there's no elasticity in the ankle area, making them slide down my feet when I wear them. I wasn't expecting that as my other smartwool socks are good quality. I probably won't be wearing these again.

Thinner and less wool material from previous versions. You can instantly tell the difference from previous versions, cheaper materials and more expensive than before.

These have been my go-to summer socks, but something in their design has changed and they no longer fit. Shrinkflation? I wear 13 wide shoes and never had a problem with these socks fitting comfortably, but I just bought 4 new pair and they are all far too tight. Extremely disappointing because now I have to go find a new warm weather sock.

Disappointed I thought they were 100% wool. They are very rough to my skin and they do not fit comfortable. I will return them

These socks are way too thin for running socks. If it wasn't a pain to return them I would.
