Love the run ankle socks with no cushion - these are almost all black with little accent color. Can be worn even with dress pants!

Really like these socks, just wish they were a tad bit thicker.

Fit great, good for low cut shoes and hiking or work

I have been running in the thicker Smartwool running socks for many years, but I recently changed shoes and wanted to try a thinner sock. I have been very pleased with my purchase as they have all the great qualities I've come to know in Smartwool! These have been great in the hot weather, and I expect they will be just as good as it gets colder this Fall.

I have bought these zero cushion ankle socks from Smartwool for several years now. I wear them all the time and love them!!!

I use these socks to go for runs and then can wear them for the rest of the day! I would have given these socks 5 stars but they do wear out after a year or so.

I have 4 different pairs of the zero cushion running socks at any time. I love how light and breathable they are and I find myself wearing them for the everyday as much as I do for running. They are not as durable as my other smartwool socks that have either targeted or light cushion but when they do wear out, Smartwool's guarantee claim system has always taken care of me.

These socks are perfect for running trails or roads, soft and warm, but not too warm if the weather heats up. They are great for every day too.

Walking

These used to be my favorite socks. I wore them every day. I recently bought some new ones, though, and it's clear that the fabric has changed. The new ones I bought are itchier, not as comfortable, and they shrink much more than the old ones did when washed. They also don't seem to regulate the temperature of my feet as well. This is so disappointing! I actually went to a brick and mortar retailer to see that carries Smartwool to see if I could find any of the old, good socks, and I noticed that for the same style here was a mix. Some pairs had the old, good fabric. Some pairs had the new, terrible fabric. So, I'm thinking Smartwool is in the process of phasing out the old stuff. So, if you can find any of the old fabric versions, buy them. They're the best socks I've ever worn. The new ones, on the other hand, should be avoided. They are quite bad.

These have been my go-to summer socks, but something in their design has changed and they no longer fit. Shrinkflation? I wear 13 wide shoes and never had a problem with these socks fitting comfortably, but I just bought 4 new pair and they are all far too tight. Extremely disappointing because now I have to go find a new warm weather sock.

I purchased probably 100 products from smart wool over the years and have been satisfied overall However these socks are a total failure in my opinion I wear them properly however they were thin and develop holes in them after about 8 to 10 uses How can Smart Wool expect the customer to keep buying their products when it is no longer usable after about 8 uses? Also I am thinking about changing to a whole new product versus smart move because even after many inquiries they will not reply to my questions? All I get is generic boilerplate response to fill out a warranty form and they may issue me a credit. I simply want to know if there's any plans to change the design or strength of these socks so I can make a decision on whether to continue to purchase from Smartwool or not I fully understand Wool fibers lacks the durability of more stronger fibers such as cotton and polyester but there's no reason why a sock that I paid $20 a pair for only last 8 uses

It's not as good as before. Quality has gone down.

Never received the socks

The Run Zero Cushion socks are the perfect weight for summer walking & biking. I loved these so much, I ordered three more pair a week later. Kudos to the Smartwool team for their minimalist/sustainable packaging! I will find a good use for the colorful elastic bands.

The 'zero cushion' should have been a clue. This sock is very thin. I have switched to the 'targeted cushion' version and am much happier!

Love smartwool socks

Put 13 miles on the first time I used these socks. Very comfortable. No rubbing and kept the feet cool. Way better than cotton socks. Only bad part is that I accidentally duplicated my order, so I bought 2 pairs and only needed 1. I called right away to get it cancelled but they could not stop the shipping.

I bought these ankle socks for working out on the Peloton and for PT sessions and they have worked great so far. I didn't need cushion, but I wanted good support and quality. These socks delivered on both counts and I know from prior Smartwool purchases that they will hold up. Best to wash in cold water if you can to avoid too much shrinking, but I very much recommend these socks. #sweepstakes.

Great socks, my husband loves wearing them. Comfortable and stylish to wear. Plus his foot Oder is not an issue anymore.
