Beautiful boots but I decided I needed a boot that offered more traction in the sole given I live in a snowy, icy climate.

These are nice, comfortable boots, but, I really wish the shaft was a bit taller/longer, at 6" they hit a little above the ankle, another inch would have been so much nicer, better for snow/puddles etc. A zipper would also be nice.

First, the color Eggshell is an awful dirty yellow tint. As if this was not enough, the elastic inserts that appeared black on the picture are true brown color, just like the hill. Dowdy color combination. The worst, however, is that I needed help from another person to remove these boots despite that they were 1/2 size larger all around and very loose in the ankle. A zipper would solve the problem. Plus, they slippery inside and toe box shape is ugly. Puzzled by positive reviews.
