The shoes are stunning and good quality, and looked exactly like what I was looking for, but I'm very disappointed in the fit. They are very narrow and difficult to put on. I wish that the zipper would go all along the side of the shoe instead of just part of it, as it's difficult to fit your foot inside. They run small, I'm usually a 7.5 but order 1/2 size up for boots for comfort (and my feet are a bit on the wide side) but a size 8 was still too small for me. If you have more narrow feet/ calves these may be a better fit for you, but I'd recommend considering trying 1/2 larger than your normal size.

I was so excited when I saw the boots but thats where it ends! I ordered a size up AND I have narrow feet yet I was not able to get my foot in. Sam Edelman I am extremely disappointed in your company. Do not order these boots unless you have boney feet!!!

These boots are so badly designed (as pointed out by other reviewers). Impossible to get them on without almost ruining the boots. The zipper should be going all the way up, and not just at the base of the boots. The ankle area is so wide as well, making the fit look bad and causes the boots to bunch. I suggest the designers try these boots for themselves. So disappointed as they are a great color and would be great if they were designed better.

I was so excited for these boots. Unfortunately they are impossible to get on. Sam Edelman, do you not have quality measures in your design department? There absolutely needs to be a full length zipper. So sad.

They look and feel incredible. Worth every penny. Wish they had them in brown.

Size is true to size. If you can get your leg in them. Thank goodness i have skinny calves and ankles.

I love these boots. Amazing quality. This boot is definitely for customers with smaller calves. Pretty true to size and the leather stretches very easy in accordance to your size.

I received boot on November 26 in a size 8, which is the size I wear. I was VERY concerned with the negative reviews however this is the best black lace boot I've ever bought! My calfs are in between and they are excellent! Great boot!

Absolutely amazing quality for the price. Material used was well done professionally in every instance.

Took a chance at this pair of boots since it is on sale. Was a bit hesitated due to the mixed reviews but they do loose up after a few wear. Now I can get them on and off without retie the laces (do struggle a little bit but think it is common for narrower boots anyway). I have medium width calves/feet/ankles and it fitted just right, might need to think twice if you prefer a wider fit. It is true to size to me (10.5) so overall I would say go for it!

I love these boots it fits me so good. I'm going to buy the other colors.

The only thing that doesn't make any sense is, why aren't they able to have a zipper to the top with the laces don't un-lace?. They go on but stay wrinkled and not fully zipped because I had to squish them down to have them on. Tthey need a full Zipper or to be able to un-tie laces.

I was too scared to try them on because the leather was "BUTTER" soft.

Love these boots but they JUST fit. The lacing is NOT adjustable past around the top third of the book; the rest is sewn closed (but with laces that LOOK as if you can use them). That said, they are lovely boots.

Beautiful boot but extremely uncomfortable. Around the ankle and front of the boot is tight and uncomfortable. Was also hard to put on. I had to unzip boot at my desk to get relief.

The boots are obviously defective, yet you continue to sell them. You cannot get your foot in them and I ordered a half size bigger than what I normally where.

PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS. These boots are made for skinny, skinny legs and feet. Impossible to get on. I now have a very pretty pair of boots that I cannot wear.

Horrible fit. Very hard to get your foot in. Opening is too narrow even when the laces are all out.
