These socks are fantastic for distance runs. Good support but not too heavy. Lasts in the frequent washings.

I really enjoy and appreciate these socks. They are my favorites. I only rated them 4 stars as one sock had a hole in it when it arrived. Unfortunately, I discovered this after the packaging made it to the trash.

This is not the first time I have purchased these socks, but I'm very pleased with them. I have several pair of the Run Targeted Cushion socks that I love, and these are great also. I'll definitely purchase again. Pretty much all of my socks are Smartwool! I'm a "Dyed in the wool" Smartwool fan :-)

I'm slowly transitioning to ONLY Smartwool socks. The rest are trash!

I've been buying Smartwool for years, this recent order had one pair of socks unravel at the seam just above the toe. Surprised and disappointed.

love the socks but the inconsistency in the size drives me crazy! two pairs are perfect while my other two pairs ride above the ankle bone

Bought these just get over the "FREE Delivery" threshold and still didn't get it free ... also, with my order, you provided me some "Discount codes" on my next order. those didn't work either.. I question your company's marketing standards/tactics and overall customer service . Probably need to do some research for a more ethical manufacturer...

I love the Smartwool brand.... others just don't last as long as Smartwool..... comfortable.. just dont put them in the dryer!!

These are pretty mediocre socks. They last me about a year before they start to get holes in them. I have a pair for each day of the week for work so they only get worn 52 times a year. The only reason these are worth it is because of the warranty.

Bought the suggested size for my shoe size and way too big. So now I have some very expensive, too large socks.

Zero cushion on these socks. They do wick away sweat, so there's that.

Honestly they just don't seem as well built as they used to be. I've been wearing Smartwool socks for over 5 years. I still have the first pairs I bought and love them. These don't see to have the same quality material and construction

I've bought a lot of items in the Smartwool PhD sock product line over the past 5-8 years. I used to buy size small in the PhD ski socks and size medium in the PhD running socks. I once bought size small in the PhD running socks and that pair hurts my toes and gives me blisters, whereas the many pairs of medium PhD socks I own are a dream to wear! Anyway, the product name changed online from PhD running sock to targeted cushion but the sock appeared to be the same as what I've bought numerous times before, so I ordered 5 pairs, feeling confident that I knew what I was getting. Unfortunately they must have altered the fit / sizing when they switched from the PhD running sock to the targeted cushion running sock because the new mediums I recently bought don't fit like my older mediums. The new ones fit acceptably well, but since Smartwool socks are fairly expensive and since I love my older Smartwool socks, I was expecting to love my new socks, which I don't. And that's a bummer.
