I wanted a four-season everyday sock and this is it. Good fit and good quality.

Started pilling on the heels immediately. Disappointing quality for the price.

I loved the cushioned socks I bought for a trip to Alaska last year. My feet feel like a million bucks in them, especially in boots. I wanted lighter ones. This pair wears and feels very much as the others, but one sock was smaller than the other, shorter in length and slightly tighter. A mis-matched pair. I needed them for an event so couldn't return in time.

The addition of the green logo on the charcoal is a bit crass. Not sure who the audience is. Anyways I used to only buy these for about 7 years. Gotta find another sock now because of the big green logo. Unless u guys can delete it? Pretty please.

This style is too tight on my lower calf and ankle. I have a 12" calf and these socks cut in so badly I can't wear them. I have some other styles that see to be looser (like the Hike liner in XL.) If you could make at least one kind of sock for "big leg people" that would be amazing. I like the zero cushion because I don't need thick socks-- I have two pair of old loose socks I bought from you years ago that are the only pair I wear now.

I would use as a daily sock but the ankle area is too snug and a little difficult to get on, otherwise they would be great. I am not wearing the current socks I just received, and I went with the extra large.

I have been trying to reproduce a pair of black Smartwool socks that I love. I purchased them several year ago and are much softer than the pair I just purchased. Any suggestions?

The latest iteration of the Anchor Line socks seem to have a tighter fit and a lower % of wool than its predecessor. The wool+nylon blend, particularly through the ankle & calf, is more restrictive and snug than before. Where the previous version fit my feet perfectly these feel like they're about a 1/4 size too small. Ordered size L for feet wearing USA mens 10.5 4E shoes.

These were pretty tight on me. I gave them to my daughter.

Socks are stylish and fit great. Thought that I ordered a pair with a little cushion. But that is on me I should have read the description better. Pairs well with my dress shoes.

Not as soft as previous smart wool socks that I have purchased. They feel more scratchy.

Once again out of navy blue in large and it's not even October yet.

I have narrow feet and was so happy to find socks that did not bunch up in my shoes. Unfortunately, the ankle area of the sock is so small it cuts off the circulation in my feet.........

great basic dress socks

I purchase a LOT of Smartwool socks and pleased with all of them except these. These just dont hold up. I guess it is because they are thinner than others. Just about every pair i have of these have holes in them on the sides, toes etc after about 25-30 uses. That just doesn't cut it considering the cost of these

Very thin. It works as a liner.

I have purchased both the zero cushion and light cushion Smartwool Women's size Large socks. I love how they feel on my feet HOWEVER, and it's a big HOWEVER, they are too tight above my ankle. they leave a mark. I wish there were both a foot size AND an above ankle size to choose from. I am trying to stretch these socks out by placing them on some containers and leaving them for days. I hope it works!

Returned too small, past purchases of extra large socks from Smartwool fit well?

I have skinny legs, and these socks are very tight on my lower calf. When I take them off it takes my legs several hours to get back from the constricted state.

I bought for work in a very cold environment. I am very disappointed with the extremely tight fit that caused my feet to become numb caused by lack of circulation to my foot. The top band does not stretch enough. I had to come home at lunch and change my socks.

I am sorry but I am very disappointed in the socks. I purchased 14 pair of the large based on your size chart because I wear a size 10 . They are really to tight and very uncomfortable to wear , maybe going a size up instead would be more appropriate. I washed them all at once or I would have r return them. If someone would respond to me so I can maybe exchange or return under the customer satisfaction guarantee.

When is SMARTWOOL going to re-brand itself as SMARTNYLON? I loved the Merino wool socks you used to proudly promote.

I wish I could give a good review but after nearly 2 weeks I have yet to receive my order. Please stop using FEDEX they suck. I'm sure the socks are great.

Failed miserably at first use. Probably just a defective one.

What genius decided to change the sizing on what used to be an outstanding sock? Size 10 shoe, worn size L of these socks for years, new version is two sizes too small.
