A premium price for a simple pair of sleep pants with no attempt to match the plaid pattern on the outer and inner seams. We have been steady LLBean customers for years. With Covid we have been dependent on internet commerce for our needs I needed new pajama pants and trust you guys to give high quality for a higher than average price. This is the first negative comment I've made. Can't send them back because it's cold in Texas and I need them. This pair of pants is not worth the price I paid for them.

These pants are beautiful and well-made, as one expects from LLBean, but they are seriously lightweight flannel. In years past I've bought nice heavy flannel sleep pants here, the kind you can wear around the house on a chilly day. These are not those. Very disappointing, LL! Hope you get it together for next year.

Super comfy, soft, baggy, and warm. If you have a big butt though, these are not for you. Even though they appear baggy, they will ride up. The legs are roomy but the butt is not.

These are very cute and very soft but they are humongous, like both my legs fit comfortably in one leg of the pjs humongous. I'm going to try out a different style and hope the fit is different.

After reading the reviews that said this item runs small, I ordered a petite small instead of XS. The pants were much too large. I would have tried exchanging for the XS, but the flannel was too thin. It would not have been warm at all.

The flannel is disappointingly thin; much thinner than what I've gotten in the past year or two. The waist is cut smaller (a problem for us apple figure types). I wouldn't specifically not recommend them to a friend; I would just let them know of the thin fabric.

Comfortable but the drawstrings fell apart very quickly.

Comfortable fit but longer length than an old pair. Need to hem them & noticed seam pattern do not align up. You would think at $44.95 for bottoms - material would match at seams. Only offered one length - regular

These flannel pants are well thought out and well made. I really like the pockets and the drawstring, and was very happy to be able to buy a Petite version (I'm 5/3") so I won't have to roll the waist in order not to trip on them. But a serious downside is the disappointingly thin material. At this price I expected a more robust flannel, not one that's no different from what you find in bargain stores. I always wash flannel on a delicate/wool setting and I never put it in the dryer, so at least this thin flannel won't be getting much thinner any time soon. But I know LL Bean has access to better flannel, so why not offer that to your customers? Maybe offer a thin version like this (for a lower price than this!) and also a toastier version for people who need more warmth?

The flannel fabric on these sleep pants is soft and cozy and hard to find anymore. However, the full legs were a deal killer for me. Even in an XS, they were far too big. I feared they would be too bulky for comfortable sleeping, especially with the pockets. As lounging pants, they might be great, but I am sadly sending these back.

Although I love the coziness of the pants, and the fit, I was disappointed with one thing. Although the plaid matched in the front, it did not match on the sides. LLBean used to pay attention to this kind of detail, and it is disappointing that such was not the case with this item. Given the bold plaid pattern, the mis-match is very obvious, and almost makes one dizzy to look at it! That said, I would never wear this item outside of the privacy of my home.

These flannel sleep pants are made of a much thinner material than I was expecting. The material is soft, but not thick, so if you are buying them to keep warm, they may not be the best purchase. They fit true to size and are comfortable. Since I purchased them as winter pajama bottoms, I would not buy them again for the purpose of staying warm. I have purchased several pairs of LL Bean flannel pajama bottoms and these are definitely not of the same quality.

Conceptually this should be awesome but fit is not as comfortable as some of the flannel PJ's LL Bean has sold in the past. The pant legs are a little long for size Regular. I am 5'5".

I do NOT consider this fabric to be a flannel! It is more of a woven cotton and VERY THIN. ABSOLUTELY DISMAYED.

I had a pair of LLBean flannel pajama pants that I wore for many years, thick and cozy material that held their thickness over many washings. The material of the ones I just bought are very thin. After a washing they are soft and fit well but they will not be as warm as I had hoped.

Not usual LL Bean quality. Plaids didn't line up at the seams! Looked chintzy. Fabric was acceptable.

These pj bottoms were not up to LL Bean standards. They fabric had a thinner, worn feel to it and the colors were pretty faded. I returned these and got a different complete set that I am very happy with.

I liked the PJ pants, purchased Petite XL. However they were too big & too long, so they were returned. Would like LLBean to offer CROPPED pajama pants, please consider!!!

I have a pair of these from several years ago. Love them, but these are a much thinner flannel that doesn't seem as warm. They are also listed as "petite', designed for those under 5'3' and the legs are still about 6inches too long.

I ordered my usual size medium in these flannel pants, but they were too large. There was so much fabric in the flannels that I sent them back. The quality was good; they just did not meet my needs.

In the first place, why are there no "petites" in pajamas. If you're short, which I am, these are way too long. I could live with that, but the material on these (got two pairs) is flimsy. OTOH, the pockets are welcome.

The sailcloth stripe color is pretty and not the typical plaid, would be nice in warmer seasons, but this fabric was thinner than my oldest cotton flannel PJ pants, and they're over a decade old. I practically live in flannel PJ pants and a tee and have multiple at home of other brands but I don't think these would last 6 months and would rip in no time and doesn't seem to be a high thread count. I'd be cautious on this one. Too risky for me at this price point.

I needed pajama pants, but not the shirt, so I tried this item. Unfortunately, I found the pants lacking in comfort as well as shrink resistance. I previously have tried other flannel pajama pants, but they, too, were scratchy, although they didn't shrink like these pants. My favorite is the flannel pajama set; but I find didn't need the shirt! These pants will not stand up to frequent wear and washing, unfortunately. I would have been better off to have ordered the premium flannel pajama set and get another long sleeved shirt that I will rarely wear instead of these that are so uncomfortable to wear.

I am otherwise happy with the construction and sizing. After four months of wear and laundering (cold wash, no drier) these pants have pilled all over and look shabby. My partner has LL Bean sleep wear from around a decade ago that hasn't pilled like this, and I was hoping to get similar quality pants for myself by shopping here.
