Fine but not as thick as the earlier pair I have from LLBean, and not as soft. I like the pattern a lot. And they are quite comfortable for sleeping

Love the colors, love the fit, love the pockets. Don't love how thin the "flannel" is. Barely qualifies as flannel. I'm keeping them but they won't last forever like flannel should.

Love the style, material and color. Got a large anticipating they would be like other pants at LL Bean, but these run larger than the pants. I normally get medium and its a bit tight. Large is too long for my 5'5'' height and they are loose. But I like that in a PJ so I give theses a high rating.

I had to shorten them about 3 inches but that is not unusual for me. The quality is great and they are very comfortable.

Material doesn't seem same as past purchased LLB flannel pants, or even recently purchased pj's. Bit disappointed bc got for my daughter as she liked mine. Didn't look if fabric content was same etc., mistakenly just assumed they'd all be same quality. Still gv 4* bc better than most out there. May go back to Bedhead:/

I'm 5'4" and am somewhere between a Medium and Large size in these pants. The petites were unfortunately sold out, so I bought the Regular. The colors are pretty and I really like the pants. They're comfortable, too. But the fit is quite generous and these are probably three to four inches too long. I kept them anyway. But I would have exchanged them for a petite if that was available. At my height, I've purchased other petite flannels at LLBean and the length was perfect.

I think an xs might fit better but since it's 100% cotton I opted for S. No matter what these petite Ms are 2-4 inches too long for my 5' frame.

Based on the price, I would have expected them to be warmer.
I bought these because the flannel pajamas I bought from Land's End were thin. These are a little thicker but not what I call warm flannel.
They washed well.
They are long for me but since I'm only wearing them at home, I'll roll up the bottoms.

Love the colors and how soft the material feels. Not sure if the flannel quality is as heavy as the last pair of pants I ordered, though. Also, the legs if my petite size 10 seem very long to me this time. Hoping the next ones will fit perfectly again. I'll keep these for now.

I bought a size larger because flannel always shrinks in the dryer. Over two wash and dry cycles, these PJs shrank 2-3 inches in length and a little in width. Now they are the right length for me (5'5"). I would suggest washing in cold, and drying on a drying rack to avoid shrinking too much.

I don't generally think of flannel pj pants as something that might be beautiful, but this rich berry plaid pattern really is. I just love the colors. These are a lighter weight than standard flannel pjs. They're ok but I do wish they offered full weight flannel pj pants too, without having to buy them as part of a whole set.
I'm 5'5", 32" waist, 41" hips. I got these in L and I could have gotten them in M but they'll be fine. They're quite full, but very comfortable. I am THRILLED to be able to get them in petite. These hit just at the top of my foot, which is perfect.
I just bought these to replace a pair of Bean flannel pj pants that finally started falling apart at the waistband after 15-16 years. Those were part of a set I bought, and they were the traditional, thicker flannel. The top is still in perfect shape, but I didn't wear it as much as the pants. Considering these are thinner, I don't expect they will last that long. I know by today's standards, 15 years is fantastic - but according to any standards that take the environment or consumers or frankly the health of our economy into account, 15 years is reasonable. I don't think Bean is as high of quality as it used to be 30 years ago, maybe not even 15, I don't know, but it's still a lot better than most brands and I hope it stays that way.

I'm almost 5'3" and pretty petite, so these felt a little long and a bit baggy before I put them in the dryer. I love the pockets and drawstring, and they're perfect for lounging and/or sleeping.

Pretty & fit well, but light weight. The men's pjs that bought in previous years are thicker/better quality.

comfy lounging pants. Flannel is very light-weight. I was expecting fabric to be a little heavier but it does not affect the comfort. True to size. Love the plaid.

Well made, comfortable, wash and wear well. Wish the Flannel was a little heavier.

I really like these flannel PJ bottoms. They are soft, cozy, and warm without being too much. The flannel is not as soft and warm as in the L.L. Bean Scotch Plaid PJ sets (I don't know why they use a different flannel), but it is perfectly adequate for sleeping in a temperature controlled house. I took off one star because I am struggling with sizing as I know these will shrink. I also think they are expensive at full price. I bought the orchid check ones in store, and I really love the color even though purple usually isn't my go-to. I liked them so much I bought the coral ones online, but I may not keep them. They color is a bit loud and these are frankly expensive. I am also waiting to see how the purple hold up in the wash. I am sure they will shrink. I got the small, and they are a little big on me at 5'3 125 lbs, so we'll see how they hold up and then I'll decide if I will keep the orange plaid pair or return.

Love these flannel sleep pants! this is the 3rd pair I've purchased for myself, but this time, the fit is a little bit tight, and my size hasn't changed.

Ordered a small and they are the equivalent of a women's 8 or even 10. A smaller would be too short, unfortunately. Lovely weave and lightweight flannel.

Love the color and the fit was perfect except a little long as I'm only 5'2". I just wish the flannel was a little thicker.

I have purchased many pairs of pajama tops and bottoms from L.L. Bean. I like the material and they last a long time. I do think that these are thinner than what I have had in the past but mostly I dislike that they are so very long. I have long legs and this has never been as issue before. I will keep them but I will have to hem them up a bit. I love the colors.

Color is not true to picture. I have purchased tricolor flannel before and color was true. The soft flannel is a nice product, many washes, holds up well.

Nice soft and comfy flannel which will be cozy in the winter months. Washes up nicely and I noticed no shrinkage.

I like this in spite of it not being flannel. I phoned Customer Service and told them it should be listed as twill.
The one I bought several years ago is flannel, and has a flannel drawstring. The new one has a drawstring that reminds me of a shoe lace.
These are the reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars.
I purchased Vintage Indigo since I liked the plaid best. I was glad it was on sale.

Cozy and warm but not too hot. They feel softer after a few washes.
