I love the pattern on this flannel shirt and it fits well. However, the shirt had a terrible odor, as though it had sat in someone's damp, musty basement for a very long time. I have never experienced this with any LL BEAN product, or any other clothing manufacturer's products.

Thin material. I have flannel bed sheets that are thicker material than the two flannel shirts purched.

Not the quality I expected from LLBean. Flannel pills, not the same finish as my husband's LL Bean flannels. I have to iron it to get it to look nice. I kept the shirt but will not buy another one.

Don't use fabric softener. Don't iron. Don't dry clean. Too many don'ts. Once you wash this shirt, it begins to pill. I had to take a soft nail brush and brush it down to get rid of the pills. If it truly should not be ironed, then the placket, the collar, and the cuffs are wrinkled. I removed it from the dryer, damp, and took the time to stretch out all of the seams and as many of the other wrinkled areas as I could before hanging it to dry completely. I'm very disappointed in this shirt. When I first got it, I loved it - so soft and smooth - and thought about buying another in a different pattern. That won't be happening!

Poorly made. Let cuff has begun to fray after 2 washings.

Fit is larger than expected and not complimentary. Returned my size medium.

I purchased a Black Watch shirt, after the first wash it was not looking so good( pilling). On the second wash, the fabric was pilling very much, honestly it looks like I had it for many years. For $50 I expected a better quality. Extremely disappointed!

The plaid pattern does not match on the side seams

Disappointed. Washed once and it is already pilling and "fuzzy". Not the quality I would expect from LL Bean. Will not purchase again. On the positive side it is a nice substantial weight for a flannel shirt.

Shirt had a very strong mildew smell so it was returned. If it were not for that, I think I would have really liked the shirt.

I am genuinely disappointed in my shirt. It looks very much like a man's shirt on me. There are no redeeming feminine features to help; there should be two pockets instead of one, and they should have flaps. There should be slit openings at the bottom of the side seems, and some shirring at the back yoke. I would also have liked it to be a bit longer, for wearing over leggings, etc.

Buttons are too far apart Cheap trick to save on good detailing

To expensive. Will no longer b uy from LL Bean. Quality is no t what it wons was.

This shirt is very tight and uncomfortable. I'm sending it back.

I have absolutely loved all my scotch plaid flannels (12 of them) but this one did not fit the same, was binding through the shoulders/arm holes. Something wrong with the cut or pattern used in this one. Same style and different color in the same shipment fit like a dream. I'm hoping it was a fluke.

I really liked this shirt, however when I washed it, it shrank and I washed it in cold and hung it to dry

Not happy with this purchase.....fit was supposed to be relaxed and it was too tight to button....discovered that the bottom button was hanging by a 2" thread....not even sewn on! These shirts are NOT CHEAP so I expected quality and true to size....now I get to go through a return process....UGH!

I first ordered the slightly fit. Then a relaxed. First too small second too big. Gonna get out the sewing machine.

While the fit of this shirt is perfect and spot on, and the tartan plaid is great with jeans, after just one wearing and not even yet washed, the sleeves were already pilling horribly. I was going to get another shirt since the fit was great, but with this pilling already started, I can only imagine how bad it will be after several washings. Therefore, unfortunately I cannot recommend

Plus size clothes should be longer than this was. I bought a 3x it should've been oversized on me because i normally wear a 2x but it wasn't. It also wasn't thick/nice enough to be worth the money. I returned it.

I have two of these Scottish Plaid shirts and love them. Was excited to see some new colors and bought the Blue Buchanan. The color is great, but the fabric is not the same as the ones I bought last year, it's somewhat thicker and not as smooth and refined. I was planning to keep it anyway, but when I washed it (cold water, tumble dry low) it shrank. It fit OK before washing, but now it barely buttons across my chest and doesn't even meet below that. I'm returning it.

Definitely not petite, too long, sleeves too long. Nice shirt, pretty color. Am returning it.

Fit not the same as previous shirts. Sleeves smaller and shorter. Will have to return.
