My bad! I'm always wearing my fiance's plaid shirts to stay warm; so, I decided to purchase my own. I have the Scotch Plaid Relaxed Fit which is comfy but I was hoping to order the Flannel-lined shirt which was unavailable in my size. The relaxed fit works great alone or over another top. Once my size is available, I plan to reorder the flannel-lined shirt from L.L.Bean.

This a nice shirt. The one thing I did not like was that the seams did not match. For that reason I would not buy it again. The fabric was a good weight and soft. It fit well.

This shirt seems to run larger than other shirts from same line I bought last winter. The colors are vibrant and deep but the sleeves and the body of the shirt itself are way larger than the measurements on the chart indicate. Boo hoo. Looks like it may go back for a smaller size!

Had to re-order in a Large, Medium would be ok if wearing shirt open with a Tee or a Shell under this shirt. At this price the shirt should have a center pleat in the back IMHO. I have not washed this shirt only tried it on, hopefully you will find the size your order fitting perfectly.

Comfortable, great with a pair of jeans and a light turtle neck.

The shirt fits true to size, however, with that said, it is not fitted for a woman's figure, rather it hangs on your frame as if to conceal, not accent. So if you want one for a fashion statement, do not purchase this one. It is warm and the colors are vibrant.

Everything about this shirt was what I wanted except the sizing. The sleeves were very long. I gave it to my daughter who is taller than my 5'6", otherwise I would have returned it.

I bought this for myself and was pleased to see that it actually fit well and was not too thin. I will put this on my Christmas list and hope for another color.

the shirt did get softer after washing a few times! It also shrunk up shorter just a bit. Overall, I have stopped buying shirts from LLB as they tend to get way too short but this one was just long enough.

Pro's Soft, looks well made, nice plaid (stewart) Con's Runs large. I'm 5'5, 135, and the medium was too large, sleeve length was long, under arm was ..too much. Boxy; not much shape to it and the collar sat up a little high These probably had to do with the sizing; I have to return it and maybe order a small, although I would have to sew some darts in the back, at least. I'm going to keep looking for something that has a little more shape.

I love the look and the feel of my black watch plaid LL Bean flannel shirt. So - why the "almost"? WHY are the sleeves so long? Do women wearing an XL long sleeved shirt really have arms that long? I am reasonable tall, 5'6", and my arms are in proportion to my height - and weight. The sleeves of this shirt are just plain too long!

The plaids were vibrant and the size was just right. The fabric was lighter weight than I expected. Men's flannel shirts seem to have more heft.

I got the black scotch colorway and I'm actually a little disappointed in it. I wish there were a bit more contrast between the green and the navy. I'm an H cup, so it's tough to find button downs that fit and don't gap, but are flattering. This is as close as I can get without getting something custom. I might add a button in a strategic spot to minimize gaping, and see if a tailor can add some shaping.

The fabric of this shirt is awesome after washing, however the "full cut" is regular. Do not buy smaller as the size would be almost true after washing.

I look for "real" flannel every year-- thick, nice, warm flannel that could double as a jacket, and comes in nice colors. I was hesitant to try the Scotch plaid shirts, because they're relatively inexpensive, and I thought that meant they'd be that flimsy excuse for flannel that most women's departments sell. The good news is, they're pretty thick. Not the plushest/thickest fabric, but probably the best they could make while still making a shirt that drapes. I bought two Scotch plaids, and they are the densest (women's) flannel in my closet. But the reviews are right-- they run big in the waist. I think I'm a small by the size chart (5'4", 34-26-37), but I first ordered an XS based on reviews. I'm keeping this shirt, but it's definitely relaxed everywhere, and HUGE in the waist. (I didn't want to get the slimmer cut Scotch Plaid that is offered now, because I liked that the collar on this one buttons down.) So much so that I bought the second one in a XXS, two sizes down. It's closer fitting, but STILL too big in the waist, and I have to leave the last button undone to allow room for my hips. (I'm keeping this one as a wear-unbuttoned-overlayer, because it's still loose enough everywhere else to throw a long sleeve shirt under it.) Altogether, the fit is kinda weird. I'm pretty hourglass-shaped, so maybe that's why I feel especially lost in the miles of fabric around the waist. That said, I'm keeping both of them, so what does that ultimately tell you?

Disappointed that the material isn't as thick as previous flannels I had purchased from you years ago. They sizing is now a bit tighter also.

It is cozy and fits well, but I am a bit disappointed that the fabric didn't stay nice and smooth, rather it is roughed up and starting to pill. I have not worn the other two items yet.

Love my flannel. I've had it for a year and it has shrunk in length. I have never put it in the dryer or washed it in hot water.

Tight across the shoulders. On the sides the back plaid does not line-up with the plaid on the front. Nice heavy flannel, but it is not at all soft flannel. Not really worth the price.

The plaid design is wonderful. The care directions say not to use an iron, but after washing, yhe shirt is wrinkled. I had hing it to dry. Perhaps drying in the dryer would help.

Not overly impressed with the quality of the flannel. Not very heavy and didn't wash well. For the price I expected more

I've had the shirt for 3 weeks, I've worn it a lot because I enjoy its softness. However, it has already started to pill under the arm. I love the color I love the feel of most of it but it's already breaking down.

This fits well, is soft and warm, and the pattern is beautiful. I'm disappointed in it because the second button from the top is too low. It leaves too much of an opening at the neck so it considerably reduces the warmth, but the top/neck button is too high to close comfortably. I suppose they designed it this way to make it more "feminine," but if I want to be feminine I'll wear a dress, not a flannel shirt. Also, the threads at the buttonholes are not finished well and keep looping around the buttons. In the future I'll go back to buying men's flannel shirts in size small. They don't fit as well overall but at least the button placement doesn't expose my chest to cold air.

After two tries I had to give up on this shirt. It is hard to spend the money on two returns and still not have a shirt. Can't afford to risk trying another one on!

This shirt was great until it was washed for the first time. Washed on warm and dried on low. Unfortunately the sleeves are now a good 3/4" shorter than before it was washed. I bought the tall for the sleeve length so the shrinkage is disappointing.
