The shirt looks as expected and fabric had nice texture until washed. However, the flannel develops a less smooth, pilled texture after only one wash. I have noticed the same thing with LL Bean flannel shirts bought for my husband in recent years - and they become more and more pilled with every wash. All shirts claim to be 100% cotton. This never happened with flannel shirts bought from LL Bean years ago, which still do not have a pilled texture.

Color was little different is why I ordered this. Color was alittle different, darker than expected.

Love my flannel shirts from llBeangreat color combos and fit is very comfortable! Wear them all winter , fall and spring over t necks and then tshirts.

I wanted a light weight shirt that could keep the chill off my shoulders in the summer...this fits the bill.

I ordered my normal size, but it was too snug to enjoy.

I returned this because I wasn't crazy about the colors of the plaid, but also was put off by the many reviews complaining about how quickly the fabric pills.

Best flannel shirts! No shrinkage! Fits perfectly!

The Rob Roy is lighter weight than the other colors I have purchased.

Almost perfect, but now the cuff is fraying. I very carefully wash the shirt in cold water and let it line dry. Regrettably, it's defective.

Washed it in cold water before wearing the first time. Material is very soft, which is great. I like the color and the way it fits the body. The only "flaw" is that the sleeves are a little longer than my arm, but that's certainly not a dealbreaker! I give it an A!

Very warm. Not as attractive as the regular flannel shirt. Does the job though.

Wish this shirt had been available in petite. It is so soft and comfortable, just too long in the sleeves and body.

I like the shirt. Fabric is soft, blue and green colors true to picture. The length and fit are good, including sleeves. My only complaint is that the collar is smaller than other flannel shirts I have bought from other makers. It is shorter and the tips are flimsy, so it curves under, making it appear a bit sloppy.

I really liked this red, plaid flannel shirt but I tried the 1X because there were no 2X sizes left and it was just a little too snug in the waist area. I had hoped it would be "relaxed" enough but washing it had shrunk it. Alas, I had to return it. I'll try again.

I bought the antique dress stewart- it is beautiful fabric, soft and warm, but the plaid does not match at the side seams. It's a large pattern so seems pretty noticeable. Maybe not to be expected at this price point?? A different plaid shirt I got from LL Bean about a year ago does have plaid which matches on the side. I'm still deciding whether to keep this one.

The fit was a bit smaller than I anticipated. I had planned to wear it alone, however when buttoned, it's a bit too snug. Hence, will wear it open as an overshirt.

Great color and fabric - sizing off as no stretch or give. Will have to wear over a tank or T. I'm 5'3" and normally wear women's size 8-10. Snug through chest if you're more than a 34B cup.

Warm and cozy. Would be nice if it did not have a tag.

Nice shaping, soft feel, pretty colors. A little darker in tone than the photo suggests.

Pretty colored plaid shirt that matches well with jeans or slacks. Good fit. It pills alittle on the sleeves.

It's very nice, but a tad smaller than I thought in the body, but sleeves must be folded over. I was somewhat disappointed that the plaids did not match, since I expected they would for the cost. I'm thinking the Large Petite might work better next time. I will not put in the dryer.

The blue and green colors are very dark without much contrast from the black. I bought the pine green tee to wear under it and the green in the plaid is not as dark as pine. The shirt is a good construction and weight and it's warm.

This shirt has a nice weight for flannel. I was in-between sizes. Where a medium was a little short in the sleeves and a large with big through the body. The nice clerk suggested a medium tall and that works fine. I'm 5'5" and weigh 130 lbs.
