Haven't worn it yet, only to try it on. Seems a little boxy but that may be the way it's hanging on the hanger.

The flannel is thick and soft, and the fit is good; only complaint is that the edges of the placket curl when you wash and dry it, so you can't just grab it out of the dryer and wear it. (I am putting clothespins down the placket when I take it out of the dryer; that helps, if you give it a couple of days, but it would need ironing to really get it flat.) Seems like there is no interfacing in the placket, which would have solved the problem.

I really enjoy the tartan plaid flannel shirts, but the soft fabric does pill rather quickly then , they don't look quite as neat. Otherwise, the shirts wear well & offer comfort 24/7 & I love the choices of tartan - I've ordered many from you.

Shirt shrink in gentle before wearing prewash, but I bought a medium in anticipation. I'm 5'4, 106-108#. Flannel didn't pile but would benefit from ironing even though I removed from dryer immediately. Shirt doesn't enhance my figure - pretty shapeless. Pocket is too shallow for cellphone. Love the plaid.

Over the years I have purchased several of these. Warm, comfortable, easy to care for. My only suggestion would be to make these in some solid colors in addition to the plaids. By "colors", I mean NOT pastels, "girly" colors. I often see clothing for men in the kind of colors that I would like - heather-like blues, rusts, green, etc. I don't want to dress like a 12 yr old.

I love the Relaxed Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt I bought last season, so I ordered another one last week in the same size (medium regular). This new one fits snugger across the back and in the sleeves when compared to my shirt that has been washed several times. So disappointing, since next size up is likely to be too loose.

This is a great shirt for casual wear. I wear it as a lightweight cover over t-shirts. It did shrink a bit after washing so you might want to consider sizing up.

I bought two of these shirts in both large and XL and tried them both on. The XL was too big and the L was just right, so sent the XL back. After the first wash in cold water and dry at med dryer heat it shrank so much that it was tight across the chest. Maybe the equivalent of 1/2 a size? I have reordered the XL because I love the shirt and the quality is very good, just the shrinking fabric issue. Just beware and order it a little oversize. Luckily LL Bean is allowing me to send it back. Love their guarantee.

Love the colors of my new flannel shirt. Goes with several of my T-shirts but I am disappointed in the quality of the flannel itself. After just a coupe of washings in cold water it it is starting to pill.

Very nice shirt. Nice flannel weight. The petite size is ok but the sleeves are long and have to be folded up. Works as a stand alone or over t shirts. The relaxed fit is comfy.

I have a closet full of Bean flannel shirts
This Buchanan plaid called out "one more."
I appreciate the way the seams match the plaid.
And, YAY, no blazen logos stitched to the front of the shirt.

Beautiful colors. Fabric too thin.
Slightly oversized for layering.

Flannel fabric appears to be piling already. Very comfortable and true to size. Great color, coordinates with many colors. Love it.

Soft, easy care, durable fabric and quality construction. Sleeves aren't too tight or too loose. Especially appreciate the button on the sleave placket so sleeves stay rolled up. At 5'5", 135 lbs, 37.5" chest, no waist, slender frame the medium is a little big in neck and shoulders, but currently need the extra room around the middle - thank goodness for relaxed fit!

I have several of the Scotch Plaid flannel shirts, and a few years ago a Slightly Fitted option was also offered. Those fit better than the Relaxed version imo even if you have a straight figure as I do. I now see an oversized Boyfriend option has been added. Please also add the Slightly Fitted option again, as it looked a little more feminine and is less bulky. It still had plenty of room at the waist even for those of us without much waistline; it wasn't totally fitted nor snug anywhere. It gave an illusion of having a waistline while still being roomy enough and very comfortable. The Relaxed version is very boxy and shapeless even though it's true to size in the bust.
I haven't bought this year's new patterns but I like all the ones I have and they still look good. The flannel is probably mid weight, not heavy weight, and the colors are beautiful. On the ones I have there is a second button at the cuffs which really helps those of us with small wrists. It's an added touch that makes a difference. Also, thank you for offering a good selection in Petites.
Some reviews mention a recent lowering of quality. Please don't do that! I love my old Scotch Plaid flannel shirts from LLB. Just wish the Slightly Fitted option was still available.

I just bought this flannel shirt in the Antique Royal Stewart but the colors are too faded so I am returning it and buying it in the Navy Stewart which is a more vibrant color which I like to wear in winter. I buy these flannel shirts in L and wear them all winter as a jacket over my waffle shirts. They are a perfect weight and so soft. The color is the only reason for a 4 rating.

Very soft nice material, ordered one size up for roomier fit. But WHY the scratchy tag? I tried to cut it off but that made it worse, from the itchy remnants. You ruined a great shirt with that tag.

Plaid is great with my golden yellow long sleeve t's or turtles. Fabric is nice but a bit lightweight. This specific item the plaids actually match which is surprising but appreciated.

I have LLBean flannel shirt that is five years old and still great. This is one of two new ones for me this winter. I like to layer with LLBean cotton tees. Perfect for winter warmth!

These flannels are very soft and moderately warm. Great for layering on a cool Fall day. My only issue is they pill and shed all over the place. I don't wear too often because of that.

This is a nice light to medium weight shirt. The color matches the pictures. I just think for the price, their plaids should match, but I suppose those days are gone.

Fits well and great workmanship. The arm length IS NOT GORILLA length.
I would have liked more classic, conservative plaids. My style is very traditional. In the past you had more for me to choose from. Also, in the past your flannel was a little heavier which I prefer. Now it is too thin.
Grateful,
