This was a gift purchased for someone else. Although we had to return it because it was too large it really is true to size. The colors a pretty and it looked perfect for winter.

On the small side due to sherpa lining and my older body. Size up if you want it to fit over flannel pajamas; the sleeve lining will slide over the flannel without too much difficulty, (which is why it was not lined with sherpa). The lining is fluffy and does not seem itchy like many polyester fabrications. As an amateur seamstress, I was impressed with the workmanship seams and general construction of the garment, but the price point did seem excessive when I saw similar flannel lined robes for 1/3 less on Amazon. find a sale if you can wait it out without freezing.

I could live in this robe! I recommend one of the flannel nightgowns to wear underneath. The combo is perfect and super cozy.

I live in Colorado and I wanted a robe that was warm and cozy especially when I get up at night to let my dogs out side. This road is so incredibly comfortable with the furry lining. It is the most comfortable robe I have ever owned. I also own L L Bean's fleece robe which I also love, however, it is very warm. This one is a little less warm, but still warm perfect. I ordered an extra large because I like my robes to be too big so that I can wrap them around my body and roll up the sleeves. I would say it fits true to size, unless you like your robe to be oversized like me. I am 5 foot 7, and around 145 pounds. It is definitely worth the price and I am thrilled to have it. L L Bean seems to get it right every time.

The robe is soft, comfortable and so warm you can turn your thermostat down at least two degrees. This should receive an energy star rating. I'm an odd size, curvy on the bottom, long arms, broad shoulders. The XL fit me nicely.

Awesome! I ordered the plaid and matching jams... so wooly and warm. Am 5'5", so almost petite... ordered the XL petite so I didn't need to alter it much and was perfect size.

It is the warmest, coziest robe I have purchased--I call it my winter "comfort robe." I purchased the XS, which fit perfectly--not too bulky, as many so-called XS robes are for my height & weight (5'4," 110 lbs.). Excellent quality; love the deep pockets!

Since this robe arrived, I haven't been able to get my wife to take it off. She has begun to refer to herself as "Mary Astor". I was concerned that she wouldn't like it as there were reviews that said that the sleeves are unlined. She said that she hasn't had an issue staying warm and that as they are unlined, she can likely still wear it through the spring and maybe the summer.
