I was quite disappointed with this robe. It is definitely not the quality I have come to expect over the years from LLBean. The Sherpa fleece lining is thin and it does not extend into the sleeves. The bit you see at the end of the sleeves is just decoration. Sizing was fine. It was returned for a refund and that process was easy and smooth.

I was a bit disappointed from the beginning seeing that the sleeves are not even lined with sherpa as the entire rest of the robe is. Not sure why they didn't line the entire robe, to me that felt kinda cheap and I am not too pleased with how the differences feel on my skin.
I was super excited to get this robe, so I let the sleeves go. When I tried it on right out of the package it fit the way it was supposed to, big, long and a little oversized, just the way I wanted it and ordered it this way, PAYING EXTRA for the sizing.
I read the care instructions and followed them to the specifications. After getting the robe from the dryer and put it on, I found that it SHRUNK almost TWO inches. It no longer touched my ankles and the sleeves are now not past my hands, they are not a little behind my writsts. I am SUPER disappointed in this company. The quality is NOT what it used to be. If I pay almost $110 for a ROBE I expect it to NOT shrink or bunch upon laundering.
I would not recommend this robe or company to anyone. This will be my very last purchase.

Not LL Bean quality. The flannel outer fabric is very thin and the Sherpa lining not the quality I expect from LL Bean. I have purchased several of the fleece robes over the years and love them. With the Sherpa I thought this would be warm for northern winters. The sleeves are not lined and not warm. I won't send back but will use more as a spring robe. Disappointing to say the least.

Received this as a gift (I had asked for it), but disappointed in it. It is definitely not what you want to put on right out of the shower. The sleeves are not lined so your arms are cold and never really warm up. Cheapens the whole product. Love the look but unfortunately will probably be returning it.

The sleeves are not Sherpa lined but flannel. The hood is large and heavy and causes the robe to remain open at top, thus not keeping chest warm. Sherpa is not absorbent. Not good for after showers. Looks nice but not practical robe

Love your clothing as a rule, however, this robe is not warm, no sherpa lining in the sleeves and the sherpa is not as warm as the men's robe that I purchased. It is soft and comfortable but wish it was warmer.

Sadly, this robe was not up to LL Bean standards. The flannel was much thinner than their flannel shirts, and the fleece was sparse and cheap-looking. I wanted to love this robe, but expected more for the price.

The robe has sherpa lining everywhere else except in the sleeves. I returned it, after paying so much for it! Disappointing

For the price, not what I expected. Poor quality and the tie comes undone constantly. My husbands bathrobe is of much better quality, perhaps I should have bought a new s robe. I hate to give this such a low rating but it's the truth.

Too thin. The sleeves are much thinner than the Sherpa lined hoodie. I love the hoodie and I was hoping that this would be a long version of that. I was very disappointed and will be returning

Purchased as a Christmas gift
Very warm and cozy
Very disappointed that this product has not "worn well"
The bathrobe was washed following instructions - the bathrobe looks like it is 5 years old - the fabric has piles and looks old and shabby
I would not recommend to another customer and again disappointed in the LLBean product

I was very disappointed, it is so light! It is a sweet looking and cozy robe, but not at all warm. I am looking for a heavier and very warm robe to wear when I go out to the hot tub during cooler days, or just to cuddle into when chilled inside the house, so I am returning. I bought a different style for my husband a few years ago that more closely fits the bill. I will look to see style and order one of those for me now instead

I returned the item because the sleeves did not have the Sherpa lining.

I am very disappointed on how thin the flannel and Sherpa lining is in this robe. Clearly it is only warm enough if you are inside with the heat on high. I live in NW Montana and thought I could step outside with the dogs or get the newspaper wearing this robe. NO WAY. Given that L.L. Bean is in Maine, I expected that this robe would be thick and very warm.

I have been looking quite extensively for a Winter weight robe. I thought this one was perfect, but using your size guide this robe was too big on top and two small on the bottom and did not cover your chest sufficiently. Would not cover your knees when you sat down! Not warm enough for 10000' in Colorado as sleeves and pockets are unlined. So I am returning it.

Nice heavy robe with very flimsy, thin belt which doesn't work well with the heavy robe.SERIOUS downside to what could have been a terrific product!
I think LL Bean should fix this problem for all current owners of the robe rather than suggesting I find a seamstress!!!!!! I want better from LL Bean! Send me another belt so I can sew two together!

This robe looks nice, but appearance is the only positive. The fabric feels thin, the lining provides little warmth, and the robe has no weight. It looks like something you would wear to stay cozy, yet it feels more suitable for summer than for keeping warm.

Bought this same item several years ago for my daughter. Bought one recently for myself. Sorely disappointed. Quality is not the same (price more). Too light weight not warm at all. All in all, you're getting less for more $$. Would not recommend.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. The fit was good but it's _so_ lightweight. The flannel is barely worth of the name, lining is thin, and sleeves are not lined at all. Older reviews were good, so I can only assume you've changed suppliers. I'd recommend that the purchasing agent who handled these be replaced. Not worthy of the LL Bean name.

Very thin and overpriced. The sleeves were not lined and it was very cheaply made. Such a disappointment.

got this last week and knew there was trouble when the box was so light; I did wear it one night just to be fair, and it was generously sized but found it was no warmer than the fleece robes I already have; the materials -- both flannel and sherpa are just plain chintzy -- LBean should be ashamed to offer it; I sent it back the next day;

My first impression upon seeing the bathrobe was "cheap" The flannel is thin, and the "fleece" pulls away from the backing easily and tufts of it come out in my fingers.
I will be returning this. In the long ago past I had a pair of slippers and a pair of boots that lasted many years. Those were quality, this is not. I do not plan any future LL Bean purchases.
