For a Sherpa-lined robe, I thought it was thin. Not enough thickness.

This robe does not have the sherpa lining in the sleeves and is so light it could be a summer robe. I ordered my husband a sherpa lined robe from LL Bean several years ago for Christmas and it's so heavy and warm. I was expecting the same quality in this one. His robe has the sherpa lining in the sleeves and it's a hefty robe and very warm. Imagine my surprise when I opened mine. It was so light and as soon as I put it on the sleeves were so thin they won't keep anyone warm on a winter night. I'm not sure why they'd neglect to include a sherpa lining in the robe, except to cut costs, but I'm majorly disappointed. I will be returning this and looking elsewhere.

It is a beautiful bathrobe. But not as thick and warm as expected for the high price. It is really just your basic bathrobe with a hood. I would not recommend spending the money on it. pretty disappointed with it.

The robe is warm and soft. The material is thin and the stitching not very sturdy.

I bought this because it appeared to be the warmest, however it is very thin. Nice robe if you don't need warmth.

I have been looking for a very warm robe and I thought this would be good. Unfortunately, my first impression when I unwrapped the robe was "cheap". The flannel is thin and the "fleece" sheds too easily. It is not worth the price.

I wish I would have read the reviews closer before I bought this. I got it as a present for my mom but it's so cheap feeling I'm returning it, I can't give it as a gift and feel good about it. The fabric is so thin, the arms don't have Sherpa lining, and it's just generally poorly constructed out of cheap fabric. I can't believe they are selling this for over $100 dollars. Plus it runs small imo. Save yourself the disappointment and don't buy this.

I am very upset. For $100 this robe should be plush and warm. This robe is thin as paper. What is happening with this company. I was going to get my husband a robe form here bit NOW i am not. This robe is worth $49.99. Not really worth the money. What a horrible joke.

I needed a warm robe for winter months. I figured LL Bean was the best to purchase from as all my other products were awesome. This robe was terrible. So cheaply made and would be something I could just buy from a regular store . No warmth at all the flannel was so cheaply made. The sherpa is so thin that it would never keep me warm. LL Beans quality is so bad on this item.

The robe lining was comfortable and nice and warm, but the flannel was so thin that one sleeve wore through. The hole was so huge that I couldn't mend it.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
wanted to rip it off due to the refined design Normal size medium was too small. and the large I had tried on earlier this yearwas oversized I am only 62" so having that much thick plaid on my body was not comfortable

My husband looked at it and told me to wear his bathrobe instead; it was not flattering. I had concerns about how it would look after washing

The robe is mostly as advertised, but I must say, it's a lot thinner than I expected for the price. I've previously only bought $50 robes in cheap stores on sale, but I splurged on this because L.L. Bean is known for their high quality products. I wanted a nice, heavy-duty robe. Sadly, I am disappointed. I considered the fleece "winter robe" instead, but figured since this one is $40 more, it would be heavier and higher quality. The robes I've spent $50 on are about the same quality as this one. Next time, I'll be back at the cheap stores. Also, the arms are not lined with Sherpa, fyi.

Had mine for a couple years. The Sherpa cuffs and lining get nasty and turns blackish. Can't clean in with anything to get that out. Plus the sleeves have no Sherpa lining

I was happy to find a robe lined with Sherpa. Well, I didn't. The sleeves are not lined and the robe material is thin. I paid so much for this and it is not as warm as a fleece robe. Waste of money.

Naw, I wanted something comfy to upgrade an old hopeless robe. but the hood wasn't functional and warm for after a shower or hot tub really and the pockets weren't located in a good area of the robe. I liked my husband's design much better.

The arms are too short! I am a 5'9" slender lady; I am on the tall side but this robe is not made for people built like me. Otherwise, it's great.

I was quite disappointed with this robe. It is definitely not the quality I have come to expect over the years from LLBean. The Sherpa fleece lining is thin and it does not extend into the sleeves. The bit you see at the end of the sleeves is just decoration. Sizing was fine. It was returned for a refund and that process was easy and smooth.

I was a bit disappointed from the beginning seeing that the sleeves are not even lined with sherpa as the entire rest of the robe is. Not sure why they didn't line the entire robe, to me that felt kinda cheap and I am not too pleased with how the differences feel on my skin. I was super excited to get this robe, so I let the sleeves go. When I tried it on right out of the package it fit the way it was supposed to, big, long and a little oversized, just the way I wanted it and ordered it this way, PAYING EXTRA for the sizing. I read the care instructions and followed them to the specifications. After getting the robe from the dryer and put it on, I found that it SHRUNK almost TWO inches. It no longer touched my ankles and the sleeves are now not past my hands, they are not a little behind my writsts. I am SUPER disappointed in this company. The quality is NOT what it used to be. If I pay almost $110 for a ROBE I expect it to NOT shrink or bunch upon laundering. I would not recommend this robe or company to anyone. This will be my very last purchase.

Not LL Bean quality. The flannel outer fabric is very thin and the Sherpa lining not the quality I expect from LL Bean. I have purchased several of the fleece robes over the years and love them. With the Sherpa I thought this would be warm for northern winters. The sleeves are not lined and not warm. I won't send back but will use more as a spring robe. Disappointing to say the least.

Received this as a gift (I had asked for it), but disappointed in it. It is definitely not what you want to put on right out of the shower. The sleeves are not lined so your arms are cold and never really warm up. Cheapens the whole product. Love the look but unfortunately will probably be returning it.
