I love the way these pajamas feel. The flannel is substantial and they’re made well. I don’t quite understand the sizing, though. The pants are nice and loose and the top isn’t. Why do companies make pajama tops so that they’re not as loose as the pants? I’d really love to see a rounded hem on women’s flannel pajamas too. It would be a lot more flattering.

Excessive lint came off of the pajamas during a dryer cycle.

We bought these as a gift. They are soft warm pajamas, but unfortunately the arms are a bit short.

I love these pajamas! They have wonderful details (like button cuffs and a three pockets) and are a great intermediate weight--warm but not overwhelmingly so. I have begun saving for a second pair in a different plaid. I give them 4 instead of 5 stars only because I find the sizing kind of odd, and difficult to manage because the tops and bottoms are not sold separately. I am 6', 155 lbs, and originally ordered M Tall; the pants fit great (or perhaps were a little big), but the top was too tight across the shoulders and short in the sleeves. I encourage you to size up if you are in any doubt.

Love all ll bean products. 4 stars because the shirt is a tad smaller than the pants. The bottoms seem a bit large while the top is less roomy. This was in the tall size. That said, I love ll bean pj's, slippers, bedding, coats, boots, and so on!

top is tight inthe shoulders and bust.. I had to order petite as I am short at 5'4" so the XL petite pants fit but the XL petite top is tight. I could use an XL Reg in the top. Other than that everything is good with them. I would still recommend them to a friend. I hope my fried would wear regualr.

Size up!especially if you like the oversized fit then size up maybe twice. I wish I would have gone up to a large, but I had already mailed back the small for a medium and didn't feel like doing it again. Now, the material is soft and warm and it's so incredibly comfortable!! I will probably end up buying another one anyway! Highly recommend

I purchased these because I was told that I could return them if after washing they didn't fit. Luckily I washed and they do still fit. They are what I consider light-weight flannel, and very comfy. I do wish the labels were sewn in separately from the seam, as I had to remove because they were scratchy, but that is a minor complaint. I am pleased with the purchase, and will probaly buy another pair.

Good fit and color and love the warm cozy feeling of the fabric. However when I wash them, I have a lot shredding come off. I have washed them 4 x now and they are still shredding!!

Really soft and a nice thick weight to the fabric. However sizing a little weird I'm 5'9" and ordered a tall medium- the sleeves were already too short, but the pant legs were super long before washing (and I usually wear a 34-35" inseam!) Wish the sleeves on the shirt were a little longer. I'll have to try to remember not to dry the shirt in the dryer, but probably might try to shrink up the pants a little.

What I love about these pjs is how warm, thick and cozy they feel. My only complaint is that I ordered petite medium and they're a little too long and very roomy. They seem to be made for a very stout person.

I would like the sleeve and pant length be another inch or two longer to compensate for shrinkage after washing.

Lovely jamas. Fabric is pilling. I am sm but ordered Med Incase it shrank, did not much n I have the long legs n sleeves to cuddle n keep me warm these cold nights in AK.

Strangely, the top was a bit small, and I think I'm a standard L over all, so I recommend you buy a larger size if you want the shirt to be truly generous as they say they are. Haven't washed them yet, so I'm a bit nervous about that.

I am 5'8' 150 lbs, with long legs and arms. I have waited years for clothing companies to realize that not all women are Petite or Regular. Last fall I ordered a pair of flannel pajamas, size Medium Tall with great hopes. The legs were EXTRA long and very big, the sleeves just a bit longer than normal. Please, LLBean realize that just because someone orders a Tall size, it doesn't mean we are big around too. I took 6" out of the diameter of each leg and 3" from the length. Please realize too, that when a person has long legs they most likely also have long arms..The sleeves were just a bit longer than a Regular size, but now that they have been washed, are 3" too short. The pajamas are soft and comfortable, but I'm disappointed in the interpretation of Tall sizing

Wife writing: The flannel pajamas are very warm for winter! They require several washings to remove the lint. I'm a Size 12 Tall and I ordered Large because Medium was too small. The sleeves are not long enough for a tall person; cuffs are cute but regular sleeve would be less to dry.

I bought this set of pajamas because the size medium I purchased prior were a bit too snug in the top. This set in large the bottoms are very long but I can at least hem those.

I bought these pajamas in store because I wanted to feel the flannel before purchasing a pair. Also the color I wanted, the indigo tartan was not available any longer online. The pajamas are so soft and wash very well. I came home, washed them and snuggled up in them. The only really thing I don't like about them are the tags. The tags are rough and itchy. There are tags on the back and the side in both top and bottom. Those have been bothering me a lot, to the point I'm planning to get my seam ripper and completely take them out. Otherwise excellent pajamas!

The top runs a bit small. Pants are true to size. Also got it monogrammed with suggested color and it was too dark to notice. Got it again with ivory and much better.

Nice and comfy. Extra long so your feet can stay warm in bed. Did not smell fresh, but had a faint smell like people who smoke impart on a product.

I bought the "rob roy" pattern (black and red buffalo plaid). Super comfortable, and the flannel gets softer with each washing. I wanted a loose fit so bought the large. The pants are a little big, and I wish the top were slightly bigger, but I guess they don't sell sets with Medium bottoms and XL tops. The only thing I didn't like was that the buttons were white. To me, it looked weird on a black and deep red fabric. It bugged me enough that I replaced the white buttons with black buttons. But if you don't have my particular mental disturbance, this won't bother you.

I have wanted to get a pair of Bean's flannel pajamas for a long time. I read reviewsi about the warmth of the fabric and the comfort in general. All this is true and then some. But I ended up returning the p.j.'s because they were incredibly long. I sort of expected extra length, as I'm short, but it was over a foot. That said, the pajamas were clearly perfect for winter. I actually first ordered the regular petite, but they were tight, so no go. Nevertheless, I recommend thepajamas even though they are, unfortunately not for me.
