Wearing these PJs is like getting a big warm hug. Bought the black watch and love the color. I'm 5'3 120 lbs. athletic build and bought a S. The flannel is soft, warm, and substantial. The bottoms fit great with a little room. They are a tad long before washing so I just roll the waistband once and it's fine. The top seems fitted and very femininewhich I love. This is the opposite of the description but I like how both pieces fit regardless. Little details like pants pockets, and a drawstring waist, and a chest pocket are nice touches. Plus, the embroidery is fab:)

I'd worn a different brand of flannel pajamas to pieces and was looking for a replacement pair. These met and exceeded my expectations. They are so soft and snuggly! I am 5'3", 135lbs, 34D, and I'm a size 6 in most brands. I ordered a small, my normal size with Bean, and it has a roomy fit. The pockets are a good size, and I found the top to be surprisingly flattering despite its generous fit. I ordered a pair for my husband and he loves his as well. The only difference we could find between the misses and the men's is that the misses' pajamas button at the at the wrists while the mens' do not. I would happily repurchase, and I have bought another pair to gift to my sister. I really look forward to putting them on at the end of a chilly day!

First pair of pajamas that aren't too short in the leg length. Agree with others, runs big, the XS fits more like a small, but the length is great for my 5'6" 120 pound frame. So cute!

Oh my word I love these! Flannel, much like leather, can have very different grades and qualities. These are A+. They are so remarkably soft, and the fit is generous enough be super comfortable. I can't wait until a snow day, I'll wear these all day long.

These pajamas are very comfortable and feel quite substantial compared to other sets I've purchased elsewhere. They're warm, but can be worn on milder evenings too. I think these will last and look good for years to come. If you like slightly over-sized PJs then I would size up. I'm an 8 on the top and bottom, with a DDD chest. Normally I wear a medium, but I ordered a large and it's perfect on top and I can tie the bottoms tighter. Highly recommend!

These are exactly what I was looking for! Quality weight fabric, well made, and so cozy- perfect for cold nights, but not too heavy that you can't sleep in them! I find the fit TTS for LL Bean and most brands, maybe even a little on the large side. I usually take around a size 6 or 8 and the misses small fit perfectly- comfortable but not baggy. I saw another reviewer said to order a size up, but I would not recommend this, I would be swimming in a medium. You can't go wrong with these pajamas!

These are my favorite pajamas! We keep our house quite cool at night, Summer and winter, so i have been wearing these every night for over a year. Love them! They are the kind of PJs you look forward to getting into! :) I have them in Navy and really haven't noticed much, if any, color change. Great item! Thanks LLB!

I war a size 14 and the large fits perfectly. The stitching and lining up of the plaid is impressive. Its a weighty fabric and cozy. I mine and plan to purchase more. I will to line dry these because they are not oversized and I don't want to risk them shrinking in the dryer .

I'm in love with these pajamas; genuinely the coziest thing I own. The one caveat: they shrank noticeably after the first wash, so size up. That said, I liked them enough that I'm buying a pair for every member of my family for Christmas.

I love these flannel pjs but had to shorten the pants. At 5'4" I followed the sizing recommendations and ordered a regular small. The pants pooled over and under my feet (trip hazard and dust collector). Note to manufacturers: no on wants to wear their pj pants up around their ribcage. Order a petite if you're under 5'5" (and hate sewing). PS - My husband loves his new flannel pjs too. We're lounging in them as I type.

The flannel is thick, soft and comfy. It does shrink up a little so size up.

Very soft and doesn't shrink in the wash. Just wish the length of the sleeves was a little longer, especially on the cold nights.

I love these pajamas and think they're worth the price. The fabric is so soft, just thick enough, and all of the details scream quality. Like a lot of other people, though, I find the sizing to be really weird. I sized up to Large from my usual Medium; for reference, I'm a solid size 10. The pants are comfortably loose. The top *just* fits. If I sized down, the pants I think would fit fine, but the top would be too small. I really don't understand this situation and wish Bean would fix it.

Nice fabric. Comfortable however, the sleeves are too short for me.

These are softest flannel pajamas around i just wish the top was a little more oversized. I found that while a relaxed fit i did size up to a Medium from my usual Small.

The fit, the style, and the Black Watch plaid pattern of the women's pajamas are great. I also like that the pants have a drawstring besides the elastic (the elastic will eventually loosen). However, the fabric for the women's pajamas is thin and pills after only a few light washings. I wash on the quick settings with warm/cool temperature and dry on low heat. Also, the white buttons look incongruous with the dark plaid; the buttons should be navy, black or dark green.

Of course I LOVE LL Bean flannel pjs. I love everything I get from you!!

I was a little disappointed in the flannel. I also purchased a pair of Stewart navy plaid for my husband and his flannel seemed a little heavier. But otherwise fine, I ordered a size larger to allow for shrinkage.

Got the Princess Mary tartan, which looks the most like Christmas colors to me. Very roomy. Soft but did shed a lot of blackish lint at first. I got this for lounging, (Flannel doesn't work for sleeping for me since it feels like velcro in bed) and this is perfect.

Very nice Pajamas but a little tight around the hips. I ordered a medium and have not had a problem with other mediums i have ordered.

Great unusual plaid colors. Did not like pockets--not deep enough but still bulky for PJs.

These pajamas truly are the softest and most comfortable I've ever worn. But honestly, it would be so nice if LL Bean made tag-free pajamas! There are THREE tags in both the top AND the bottom. Six tags total!! And they're scratchy. I cut them off, but there are still the pokey remnants left behind. Not ideal for something you are supposed to sleep in! Other than that, they're great. They did shrink slightly, but not bad enough to ruin the fit. If LL Bean would just remove those tags, these pajamas would be 5 star for sure!

The fit across the shoulders was tight even with going up a size.

As expected, the material is wonderfully warm. (According to my girlfriend) The color was what she wanted and the fit was okay.
