I'm sorry to say I was disappointed in the flannel material used for these pajamas. It's very thin. I was hoping for warm and cozy. I've shopped ll bean for decades and notice the quality diminish through the years..very sad.

I've had a pair of these pjs for several years and they are great. I bought a new pair same size and disappointed. The flannel is much thinner and they shrank so much when laundered that the top is too small. Additionally, the left shoulder feels like it's sewn on off or something because it binds. Some quality control issues for sure. Wish I could return but already washed and wore once as they are so expensive.

I bought about 6 sets of pajamas this past winter. The green plaid developed multiple holes. I delicately washed them dried on low. When I brought to the store in Manchester CT they refused to replace them and implied that I made the holes on purpose. They doesn't make sense. Why would I do that? LL Bean doesn't stand behind their products anymore.

I was so disappointed in these. The fabric wss not what I expected from LL Bean. It was sloppy and looks worn out. I will get a few wears out of them and and that's it.

I have a nice hour glass figure with nearly perfect measurements. I am 5'6" 124 lbs. I ordered large tall. The top hits at my shoulders and is loose and long which I like. The pants are for an obese person. They are enormous and designed poorly. What a shame. Their design and sizing is WAY off. I used to make my own clothes growing up, so I should know. Unfortunately I cannot exchange for medium because the top would not be loose as I wanted. The quality of the fabric is okay.

The material quality is excellent but the styling is atrocious. Even after a wash, the fit was swimming and I am not on the petite side of medium... and beyond the largeness is the shapelessness in general. I told my colleagues that if we all wore these pajamas, there would not be an overpopulation problem in the world! They don't have to be sexy but a little attention to shaping would be a lot more flattering.

The material was very stiff and scratchy. I washed several times and there was no improvement. I called LLBean customer service and they said to return for a full refund. Great customer service.

I bought these at the outlet store. I loved these pjs new--so soft and cozy--a bit oversized like I prefer. And then they were washed. Washing instructions say "dry on low" when in reality they should say "HANG TO DRY." As you can see from the pictures, the difference between the washed pjs and the ones that haven't yet been washed is about 2" in length. They now barely scuff the floor, and the sleeves are uncomfortably short. I will not dry the second pair, but how inconvenient is that?

I was very disappointed with the size of these pajamas. I currently own LL Bean flannel pajamas sized Petite Small that I bought years ago. I ordered the same size this time. The pajamas dragged on the floor and the length of the arms were much too long. I returned both the two new pairs I purchased. I was very disappointed with the incorrect sizing.

My friend purchased a pair of green and black plaid's Pjs. The Pjs online show one pattern for the front of the Pjs. However when you get the Pjs, there are two different patterns. One leg of the Pjs is a large plaid, the other leg is a smaller plaid. The shirt has two different patterns for the arms. My friend paid $75 for these Pjs. We are so disappointed. #010340366838

Was so excited L.L. Bean began carrying petite sizes, and was looking forward to these pajamas for a cold December... and they were laughably too large. Absolutely swimming in them. Hope that they can figure out the sizing better soon as it is impossible to find petite length flannel pajamas.

Pretty set for a one-time picture but impractical for sleeping and wearing at home. All the surfaces (even those PJs didn't touch) were covered in red and black fuzz. And it's after a single wear. I agree that they are soft and comfortable but desperately lacking in quality. The material could be thicker too. After using a lint roller for 5 minutes, I am left with a handful of fluff, and the item still looks horrible. Also, I'm worried there won't be any pajamas left if I use pill remover on them one more time.

I ordered a large tall and the sizing was way off. The pants for 6 to 8 inches too long. When I went to the sizing chart and L.L. Bean, it said that I was a size petite. I am 5'9"" weigh about 150

First try it felt comfortable. Washed it once then wore it - shrunk and very uncomfortable trying to sleep. Material on thin side.

Quality has declined. My red pair pills while the others which I wore for several years did not. I have a set in a different color in a package that I have not worn. I will return them.

I bought 2 pairs of the scotch plaid flannel pjs, as I loved my old Bean flannel pjs. I tried the black watch plaid first, and could live with the shedding of lint and strange sizing, but they were so scratchy I couldn't sleep in them. One reviewer said her other set was better, so I'll give the red and black a try, but I can't even donate the black watch pair as no one deserves such uncomfortable pjs.

I purchased these pajamas in October of 2021 and yesterday the back of the sleeve tore open as I was putting the top on. I wash in cold water and don't dry on high. The fabric is soft, but no longer has that thick, luxurious feel. It's sad that these pajamas did not make it into their second winter of wear!

The buttons were small and the button holes were not large enough for the buttons to go through. When I washed the pajamas before wearing, there was lint all over the rest of the clothes in the washer and the dryer lint catcher was full of lint after drying. Bits of dark lint were throughout the house after removing the items from the dryer even after shaking them. Have had another brand of Portuguese flannel pajamas and never encountered these problems.

The Indigo Tartan fabric seemed really nice and soft before washing, but after washing it was so scratchy, I only lasted about 5 minutes in the pj's before realizing I was never going to be able to wear them. They did not pill, but did shrink in the wash.

I wash on cold - cold cycle and never use dryer.
Older versions had drawstring waist which was better

I already own some flannel pieces from LLBean and I recently bought these pajamas but I noticed right away that the quality has gone down significantly while the price still remains the same. The flannels I own are heavy thick sturdy high-quality fabric but these pajamas are paper thin and pilling and the seams are already coming undone and I haven't even had them for a month.
