Between my wife, my kids, and me we own at least 5 pairs of bean pjs, 10 washed canvas shirts, multiple canvas bags, two winter coats, boots and slippers. The latest purchase marked a shocking decline in quality: cheap fabric that pilled after one wash and unprofessional construction without sizing material so that pjs do not hold shape. So disappointing. Time to look elsewhere for sure quality?

The flannel is nice and thick and soft. I am 5'10" and 140 and went with a large bc I like pj's roomy. A medium would have been fine. Please make more of your women's items on tall.

Ignore size and fit. The item arrived WITHOUT pants. All I received was the shirt, no bottoms. I am returning the item without pants BECAUSE NO PANTS WERE SENT WITH THE SHIRT.

I bought a medium size so I have plenty of room. I’m 5’5” and weigh 135. These are high quality PJ’s . Well made, soft material and thicker than some lower quality flannels. The red plaid is good looking. Looking forward to feeling warm and cozy this winter !

Generous fit, super soft cotton flannel, and the black watch plaid never goes out of style. Very little shrinkage after washing.

I bought the red scotch plaid. I put salt in the washer when I washed them to set the dye and keep them from fading. I was going to hang them up to dry, but when I shook them out a bunch of lint fell on the floor. I air dried them for 30 minutes to get the lint off and hung them up to finish drying. I hope they’ll be worth the money. The red plaid is pretty.

Shocking decline in quality in a product I have purchased many times before for the entire family.

These pajamas are super comfortable and soft. I absolutely love them. I debated on the size as I was concerned about shrinkage since these are cotton. Most reviews said these pjs were on the larger side. I would agree with that. I am 118 lbs and 5'3" which puts me at a small, but I ordered a medium. They were very roomy which is fine by me because I like loose pjs. After washing, they did shrink and i am happy with the size they have become. Perfect for me.

My tall daughter loves that these are finally long enough. I always buy them because of the quality and durability.

When washed in the proper load, this product is not Pill. The colors hold well and it is true to size. I find this to be very soft comfortable, and warm. I will surely buy more.

I have 4 pairs of these. I like to buy them every few years and I still have and wear the originals! Nice thick and cozy flannel. I live in Florida and I wear em all year!!

Red plaid and flannel together-What could be better? I now have my Christmas pj's, which, I am certain, will also see Valentine's Day.

Great pajamas but would love to see new plaids available.

The shirt was too small and the pants were huge, so exchanging for a different size will not work. I talked to customer service, and it is impossible to purchase the top and pants separately. I am so disappointed because they are so soft and feel wonderful.

The plaid pajamas are wonderful! The fabric is soft and warm and washes well. I will recommend them to friends and family!

Really nice quality flannel pajamas. The fabric is soft, warm, and very comfortable without feeling overly heavy. They feel well made and definitely worth the price. The fit is true to size with a relaxed feel. For those complaining about shrinkage, stop over drying. Heat shrinks flannel. I wash on gentle and hang dry.

Just what I was looking for. The fit is perfect. The flannel is wonderfully soft and clings to my body. They are nice and warm.

Absolutely love these PJs! They are soft, warm and love the fact that they are cotton flannel. They don't pill after washing. Draw string bottoms are a must. I bought two pair and they'll last for many winters to come,

These pajamas are very soft and comfortable. I like that they have a pocket on the top and pockets on the pants. These are the first flannel pajamas I've ordered from LL Bean which have sleeve cuffs with buttons. While that's a nice feature I don't think they're necessary, probably adds to the cost of the item, where a hemmed sleeve would be fine. What I don't like on LL Bean clothing are the tags which are sewn on showing the size and name of the company. The edges of the tags become hard and rough after the garment has been dried in a clothes dryer. Just stamp the information on instead of using those awful tags. I cut them off but just wish they weren't used.

I was told by an elderly uncle back in the 1970s that LL Bean made the best flannel clothing, so of course LL was always my go-to for flannel shirts and PJs, particularly for fall and winter in New England. 30+ years ago, I bought my wife her first pair of LL Bean flannel PJs and she, like me, was instantly hooked by LL's quality flannel fabric and classic Scottish tartan patterns. I purchased this recent pair of PJs to replace a pair of LL Bean flannel PJs in that I had given her for Christmas over 25 years ago!! That original pair of Black Watch pattern L.L. Bean Flannel PJs wore like iron over the years, were as soft as can be, and were of the exact same design, stitching, buttons, etc. as that original pair. My wife absolutely loves them and flannel PJs we've seen in popular, upscale women's shops don't even come close to LL Bean's quality. My uncle was spot on when he said LL Bean's is the best quality flannel on the market, and the fact that it hasn't changed in design or classic Scottish tartan patterns in well over 50 years, is why my family and I shop at LL Bean. Save your time shopping around, and make LL Bean your one-stop shop for quality flannel!

This was a holiday gift. The medium was a tad big for my 5'2" , 115lbs frame, but in a good way making the fit comfortable to sleep in without feeling restricted. It was definitely worth the wait & I hope yo enjoy for years to come.
