The robe is plush and soft and very warm. I washed it when I received it and let it hang dry and it held up well. The only complaint I have about the robe is because the hood is so heavy, it pulls the robe open at the top. That could be remedied by adding some kind of button or snap, which I'll probably do on my own.

I liked it more than I expected! I wasn't real thrilled with the color choices but the shade of blue was really nice, it just does not photograph well. The hood is kind of weird... who wears a hooded robe? and the cuffs don't roll easily. But overall, it is comfortable and does its job well. I'd buy it again

I love wrapping up in this soft and fluffy robe. Keeps me very warm on cold mornings or evenings.

I would give it 5 stars for its softness but have to go with 4 as it is so soft that it won't stay tied! Also had several long threads that had to be snipped. Very minor but for the price, you don't expect that issue. I wish that it was truly ankle length as well. I'm 5'7" & it comes to mid calf. But it is beautiful and very warm!

Soft and cuddly! Only problem that the front doesn't cover the front when tied. I bought it a size too big and no, I'm not fat.

Got this for my wife and it's pretty awesome all in all. The reason for knocking off one star was that the monogram that came with it was so small. It just gets lost in the fabric and not very pronounced.

It's a super soft and light robe. I'm 5'2" 110 lbs and got the XS not in petite because the only difference was the arms and I'd like those long. I swim in the robe. It's designed for larger people. It constantly opens up but I guess I will get used to fussing with it all the time. It runs large.

The robe is lovely and soft. I discovered, however, there was a mistake in the way one of the pockets was stitched at the bottom. Rather than go to the trouble of shipping the robe back, etc., I merely repaired it myself, as I have a sewing machine, matching-colored mauve thread, and lots of sewing experience. The repair took only a few minutes and the robe is good as new! (That is the reason for the 4-star rating. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.)

The robe was a nice and comfy fit. My only complaint is that we can't see the monogrammed letter we requested on it. It hides behind the lapel of the robe. That kinda sucked :(

Servicable garment...wish the cuff would have enough sherpa fabric to fully turn without seeing the seam...

I bought this robe last year and absolutely LOVED it. Toasty warm and washed well. I LIVED in this robe all winter. So, I ordered another one this year. It's not as thick and warm as last year's model. It's still OK, but disappointing because I hoped for the same results. The fabric is not as thick.

Was expecting a heavier robe, to wear out to our outdoors hot tub this winter. It's light, and soft, but not that "heavy" feel or super warm. Would be okay for summer night or spring /fall though. It is pretty and I love the color . Just not heavy and warm enough for me. A bit spendy, but well made and a good length.

The bathrobes are warm and the colors available are nice but they won't look pretty after a wash or two- the soft velour pills up I will include a photo of a new robe I bought and my robe from last year ( red ) after a wash or two they look like the old robe in the picture.

Very warm and snuggly. I've worn LLBean plush robes for years and this is the best. However, the tie front robe was too bulky in the front, and interfered with free movement. It also, I thought, bunched up in the front when tied. I exchanged for the full zip which,disappointedly, did not have a hood. Suggestion: increase the plush in the cuffs,and around the neck - both are skimpy.

I love this robe. It is plush and soft. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because the color wasn't as bright as shown in the catalog. It seems to have a little more gray in the robe making it towards mauve.

This robe is plush and cuddly; it feels luxurious in every way. The placement of the monogram, however, is a disappointment. It cannot be seen when wearing the robe.

I ended my initial review by stating maybe I needed to purchase a children's size robe b/c the petite x-small was way too large on me. Well, I followed my advice and did just that! The LL Bean Kid's robe size XL-18 arrived today and it fits! Very pleased as it is soft, fluffy and warm, and doesn't overwhelm my frame.

It's worth the wait! It was shipped 7 months late! But here in New England it's sometimes chilly at night even in august! It's extremely comfortable and I highly recommend this robe!!

It is considerably thinner than most robes that are the cool weather robes.

Great robe but seems to shed. It's not like a terry cloth robe that will absorb water/ moisture, so if you want a right out of the shower kind of robe this may not be the robe for you. On the bright side it is warm and comfy.

This robe is sooo soft and comfortable, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it took FOREVER to come. Its practically spring so I won't be able to use it really until next winter.
