The robe I purchased came all wadded up in the shipping bag. There was no shipping label in the bag. Looked like it was returned by someone else and you just thre it in a bag. Very disappointed with this purchase since it was a Christmas gift for a family member

Returned..totally overrated. Not as thick as I would expect for such an expensive robe.

I gave this one star because the robe itself isn't heavy like my previous robe. The left sleeve is shorter than the right sleeve and it sheds.But it is a comfortable robe.

This robe is not at all like the wicked cozy blanket material that's describe, which is smooth and beautiful on both sides. This robe is a very loose weave on the outside and a shaggy mess on the inside. It is not well constructed. It is not up to LLBean's standards. I liked the style - too bad. I sent it back.

Proof positive that LLBean is no longer the company it once was. This robe is cheaply made with no attention to detail. The material is of the poorest quality and there's no way this is a $100 bathrobe. I would never recommend this to anyone.

They should know that although the picture looks like the whole robe is fleece lined it is only the hood and cuffs. I was very disappointed.

I sent it back. Poor quality. Not as advertised. So disappointed.

The robe is cozy except before I wore it I washed on gentle cycle and the seams came apart on both shoulders.

Velor pills terribly and sheds like crazy, leaving it's residue on everything. After washing, dark green fuzz is stuck all over white fleece, looking disgusting. Poor quality fabric!

So frustrated by this purchase. This robe arrived with a petroleum smell that remains to this day and started to look like absolute garbage (pilled, matted) after just one wash. In addition, the stitching on the tie also started to come undone after that first wash. What was intended to be an indulgence during quarantine has turned into a real headache.

I should have listened to the reviews. Followed washing and drying directions but the inner fleece bled badly and is now a blue mess. Tie band pills all over. If you must have it maybe try a light color and dry clean???? Customer service won't take it back after washing. I regret the purchase.

Big disappointment! The contrasting fleece lining looks good, but don't wash it! We always follow instructions on washing, and we don't wear anything until we wash. The contrasting plush which was blue contaminated the fleece lining making the white appear with many fibers of the plush. The whole effect was a look of a worn, and dirty robe. The product was not consistent with my image of the company as a whole.

Purchased as a gift, and had it monogrammed. The monogrammed initial is ridiculously tiny. It's almost humorous (not exactly the sentiment I was going for)... I find it hard to believe that L.L.Bean would purposefully design the monogram to be so small in comparison to the overall size of the robe, so maybe it was some sort of error? I really wish I'd skipped the monogram. See photo... that's an 'M' in case it's too small for you to see ;)

If you want a robe that looks like its 5 years old after washing it one time, this is the robe for you, otherwise do not waste your money. Fabric pills horribly and is impossible to remove from the hood. I am very disappointed with this product, and it certainly is not worth paying $99 for it.

I purchased this robe last fall and was very happy with the plush fleece on the body of the robe. The ivory fleece on the sleeve cuffs was awful, though! Within a month or so, it became stiff, matted, scratchy and dirty. This did not improve with washing. For such an expensive robe, I expected better quality fleece from LLBean!!

I just had to return this item as the monogram was incomplete, way too small for the item and fabric, and was a complete mess. I double checked my choices and there was no error or misunderstanding on the order. Very disappointed and reluctant to repurchase with correct monogram.
