The Women's Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt is awesome. The shirt is very well made of soft cotton flannel. The material is warm and feels good on my skin. I wear my flannel shirt over my T shirt to stay warm during this winter cold weather. I am 5'2" and heavy, but the 2X fits well. Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend. I have been purchasing L L Bean products for fifty years and the products are always top quality that lasts for many years. We live on a farm in the beautiful Arkansas Ozark Mountains, so we need quality outdoor clothing.

I've washed it, and it continues to be soft and didn't shrink. I am particularly struck by the way the shirt's plaid matches, not only on the front pocket and at the button down placket but also on the back where the plaid matches from top to bottom.

I really like these shirts. The flannel is a very nice quality. My original purchase was for a petite large because I wanted it roomy for layering. However, my next order was for a medium regular and decided that I like the fit much better. I am 5'1" and weigh 120 lb.

This shirt is comfortable and cozy. I love the softness of the fabric and the flannel weight is perfect for chilly days.

My wife loves this flannel and has worn it several times since she received. Has dressed it up and down. Says it's comfortable.

I bought the MacRae color, because it's my family tartan! The colors are lovely and rich. The fabric is a thinner flannel, and although it's billed as a relaxed fit, it is actually a straight-cut shirt that was tight enough to pucker open at the bustline in my normal size. I sized up, and had to switch over to Petites for the shorter arm length. While the overall shirt length in the Petites is a bit shorter than I'd prefer in a flannel, sizing up gave me the relaxed fit I wanted.

I ordered the Angus plaid and love it. The flannel is surprisingly warm and I love the colors so I can wear it with blue or black jeans!

Great length & nice thick flannel (cozy). Fits well & washes & dries well. (I didn't dry it the first two washes). Very pleased.

This was a gift foe my daughter, which she loved. She said this is the softest flannel she has ever had.

Have purchased 3 of this type flannel shirt and really like them all. The button holes are the proper size and the collars are the proper size unlike other types of flannel shirts purchased from LLBean. Washes and dries well.

I'm 5'3", 120 lb, large chest; and the medium was a nice roomy oversized jacket-type fit. I usually wear a small or xs in Bean clothes (they always run big) and would buy smaller if I were wanting a closer fit. The shirt is super soft and the material is substantial. Not thin and not terribly thick.

love the feel of the fabric- so cozy. usually wear a womens 12 in tops due to big shoulders, and ordered a Large. Fits perfect out of the package. A little concerned about shrinkage in the wash based on other reviews, so will probably hand wash to ensure that doesn't happen.

Bought the Vintage Tartan in a petite medium. Good fit, and it feels cozy, soft, and warm.

I love this shirt! I find in women's flannels, they are either too boxy and roomy or over-tapered at the waist in an attempt to make a feminine fit. The LLBean variety fits the bill perfectly. It is neither too boxy nor too tight. Love beneath a puffer vest (or coat) as there's not excess fabric to tuck in. Great open with a tank or tee. The quality, per usual, top-notch. The feel of the fabric on the scotch plaid is very soft, with a very slight fleece-y feel. Super cozy. I purchased a few.

I bought 4. They are soft and warm. I wear them as layers over turtle neck tops. Friends notice them and I tell them I got them from LLBean!

The Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt, Relaxed is very soft, warm and perfect for layering. I live in Bend, Oregon and the winters here, especially the mornings, get very cold. For reference, I am 5'2" and 124 lbs. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. The shirt can be worn for all around daily use, and also when flying, for a nice warm layer.

I LOVE these flannel shirts! Perfect for wearing over a long sleeve tee around the house, for running quick errands and for walking our dogs on mild winter days. They keep me comfortably warm without being overly bulky. More colors, please.
