I have had this shirt many years and love it except it has pilled from the beginning. It gives this shirt a rough feel. I called customer, and they asked questions like did I wash it separately or in a bag...no, I never have because it is a flannel shirt and shouldn't need special washing. I wash.it in cold water with darks and hang it to dry. I still love it but wouldn't get another one. I do own other flannels that have not pilled like this one. I was also told I could send it back for the team to review but...why? I originally called just to talk about the flannel quality. I quilt and live flannels and felt this shirt should not have pilled.

I bought an XS. It felt like it was a Small/Medium. Way too big for this 5ft 5in petite girl.

I love the shirt, except that it shrank a lot and also pilled. I did not expect that.

The shirt, once it's laundered, looks like fuzz sticking out of it everywhere. I'm disappointed in it.

Soft, good quality flannel but didn't fit or look right. I wear flannel layered instead of buttoned up and didn't like this as a layer, ultimately returned this item

I love the colors and the softness. I am disappointed the the fabric is already piling.

I love a good flannel shirt and this is just that. However, for a womans's plus size shirt, the shirt runs small. Most specifically, the width of the sleeve does not accommodate a plus size.

I love the fit, the color and the warmth. Washed beautifully. I haven't had a flannel shirt in years so this one is perfect.

The flannel this shirt is made of is actually too thick. The shirt didn't fit right, even though I bought a larger size to accommodate layering. The weight of the fabric caused the shirt not to lie properly. I gave it away without ever wearing it. It also needed pressing before wearing. It was washed several times in an attempt to shrink it a bit, but no luck there.

The shirt is warm and well-constructed. The length is shorter than I prefer, and the fabric is pilling with one cold wash and hang to dry. It was worn once. This shirt suits my needs, but I would likely not buy another like it.

What a disappointment. I got this shirt in two patterns because it seemed to fit very nicely and was flattering. I especially liked the fit at the shoulders. But after wearing a few times I noticed that the sleeves are very short. After washing, they were even shorter. And the material looked like it had been washed 20 times instead of once--rather than getting nicer, it pilled. Mostly, I'm annoyed at the short sleeves.

I have always loved these flannel shirts BUT this one is extremely THIN! Maybe if I had ordered a men's flannel, it would have been thicker?

The fit was too boxy and big for me and I'm very disappointed that I returned promptly but still got store credit when I wanted a refund.

Really pretty disappointed after washing it once before wearing...started pilling immediately! I bought my husband one of these years back and I assumed it would be the same quality (his is literally still like new) but it's much lighter weight and material is just not nearly as nice. I would not purchase one at the same price, honestly it should run about $20.

Shirt is ok. Expected more from LL Bean at the price I paid. Collar and sleeve length seemed skimpy and I will wear it. I love the red color.

This shirt is huge. I always order XL from LL Bean, but this shirt would fit an XL man. The fabric is nice and nicely made but wrapped around like a blanket. It is going back tomorrow.

I really love this pattern and the softness of the flannel but in spite of me washing in cold water and not drying it in the dryer, it has shrunk up in the length and the sleeves as all my other LLBean flannels have. It fit beautifully before I washed it, now it is short!

I have many of these flannels and like my older one much better! I wear a size medium regular. 34" waist, 38b bust, & 43" hip. They are true to size for me. These newer plaid shirts are a thinner material, the stitching is not even on the cuffs and is coming out in several places, the plaid isn't matched, and the material is prone to piling and fading after only exactly three washes on gentle cycle, washed inside out, alone in the wash, and then air dried! I like the older LL Bean flannels much better being those back!

I fell in love with the colors in this shirt! Unfortunately after laundering the shirt p, it was a bit too snug in the bust area. .I can wear it with a tank top but never buttoning itwhich defeats the reason I bought it.

Nice shirt, well made, great winter color. Washed up with no shrinkage. Very warm.
