Great shirt - soft, comfortable, warm.
4 stars only because I am hoping llbean will offer organic cotton options in the future.

Beautiful color and nice fabric quality, but shrunk quite a bit after first wash. I can still wear it, but I prefer my flannels roomy (which is why I ordered the 3x size). If you order these shirts, I suggest line drying them. The flannel was also heavier than expected.

I've been looking for a long time for a mid-weight flannel shirt, and this one does meet that criterion. The fabric is nice. I bought this in petite XL, which seems to be my correct size, and the overall fit is good. I chose the vintage tartan.
There is something about it that I don't care for much, though, and I think I've found what it is. When I put my arms down, and look at myself in a sideview in the mirror, I see a fair amount of fabric sticking out behind my armpits. I held up the old flannel shirt
that I'm trying to replace, from a different maker, to this one, and the armholes are about 1.5 inches deeper, double thickness, to this one. So that means that the armhole circumference on this shirt is about 3 inches greater than on the shirt I'm trying to replace. I think it's a feature of the Relaxed Fit. All that extra fabric has to go somewhere when you put your arms down. With a fabric like this with a lot of body, it pokes out, and it bothers me. So I think that the relaxed fit of this particular shirt is just not for me.
L.L. Bean has a couple of shirts in flannel or chamois cloth that are slightly fitted, so I think I will try one of those instead.

This is a great shirt. My only complaint is that it comes out a bit wrinkled from the dryer.

The shirt is warm and soft. I was surprised that the sleeves were tighter than I expected. I bought these shirts to use as overshirts, as an alternative to sweaters for cooler days in the office.

I liked the shirt, however it was a little tight across the shoulders because the sleeves were not large enough around for my upper arms. Correct size otherwise.

Love the shirt but had to do an exchange. Ordered my usual size but had to return for next size up. It is a great shirt. If you order, get one size larger than you normally wear.

I have several of these shirts so it goes without saying that I like them, a lot. What keeps me from giving them five stars is the remodel I have to do on them, i.e., removing the scratchy tag in the back of the collar and sewing it on to them side seam tags. I wear all my shirts untucked and don't like the sloppy look of shirttail hems so at least the front of the shirts gets straightened. Yes, I literally cut up each of my shirts before wearing. Great shirts, fit well, comfortable, cozy and wash well.

LLBean has made an awesome flannel. They are warm, soft, and feel like you've had it for years.

Cozy flannel shirt, it's my basic winter clothing and I have many of the different plaids. If you plan to use it as an overshirt, you might want to size up for comfort, if not then just use the sizing guidelines. Sizing might also depend on whether you plan to tuck into your jeans/pants or not. My only other comment, I wish that the second button hole from the top was a shorter distance. If top button is open, it leaves the neck more exposed than I care for, even indoors

bought this for my mother whom is very fond of the consistency of these shirts from llbean. As usual she was pleased with weight of fabric along with the smooth soft texture of the fibers. The color schemes continue to give many options for different choices and likenesses.

A little pricey, but o.k quality, however, paid more for this one thinking I would get top notch material. Not saying material is bad except for the ironing . I personally would not wear this shirt without ironing it, and---it is not easy to iron. And yes, I did take out of dryer immediately. I also like the black watch print.

Love this color plaid. A little disappointed that it looks a slightly pilled after only two wears.

Prefer the old style of shirt tails to the new cut off style. Also, it seems that the sleeves are narrower, so it is hard to wear over a lighter shirt.

I first ordered this shirt in an XL on Dec 13. It arrived and was huge! I returned it the same day and requested a large.
It took three weeks from my initial order to finally receive this shirt.
The cuffs and a collar are very stiff. The color is much darker than the picture.

I love this top! I wear it often. My only issue is that the buttons gap at my bust, it would be great if this shirt was more accommodating of larger busts.

So soft and durable. This will last a long time but I'm a little annoyed at how it runs on the small side. Purchased a large-but should have picked an XL in this shirt. I have a larger chest but usually a large is perfect for me. I would size up with this flannel for sure. Material is heavenly and warm. I will be buying another one but sizing up for a looser and more cozy fit.

Shirt is soft, comfortable and well-made. A bit tight across the bust, and the sleeves are too long, but if I had ordered a medium instead of a large, the shirt would not have fit across the bust.

I don't normally wear plaid shirt, but this one caught my eye. Very nice and will look great over other Llbean tops.
