This flannel shirt is just right to wear over a lighter weight shirt. I live in Texas where on some days you need extra clothing on to help keep you warmer! These shirts wash & dry wonderful. No ironing even though they are 100% cotton. I liked the first one so much I bought another one.

THIS IS THE 2ND OF THESE SHIRTS i PURCHASED BECAUSE i REALLY LIKE THEM!! THEY BOTH FIT BEAUTIFULLY WHETHER WITH A TURTLENECK OR AS A JACKET, VERY VERSATILE!! COLORS ARE VIVID AFTER WASHING AND MATERIAL IS SOFT AND COMFORTABLE.

I love these flannel shirts. I bought one in XS and one in S, since they were out of XS. I usually buy PM, but I read all the reviews before purchasing. I actually prefer the S as it seems to have a tad more length and more "give." The only reason I bought S is because they had no XS in the color I wanted to order. It made me think since I prefer more length I may actually purchase a men's S next go around to have more length. But any way one looks at it, these are great shirts, warm and toasty on those freezing days.

The flannel is super soft, no shrinkage either. Very pleased with this item.

This shirt has become a great favorite. Arms are long enough and ample enough for another layer underneath. Flannel is thick and does not shrink. Colors are brilliant and have not faded. Washed 4 times so far. Comfortable to wear and cozy. Am buying another.

This was the second flannel shirt I bought from LLBean this season, and I adore them both. They fit me perfectly, with arms the right length, and are loose without being baggy. The feel of the fabric is soft and cozy, as you would expect. I chose the patterns because they were not traditional plaids, but those were available too. I couldn't like these more.

I was very pleased with this product. The quality and comfort is amazing!

I use this comfortable shirt often, in place of a sweater or light jacket

I love these shirts! This is not the first one I have purchased. I like the relaxed fit which can be worn alone or layered. I especially appreciate the two button cuffs which was such a help putting a fleece over the shirt during the "polar vortex". Wash and wear wonderfully. Beautiful colors. Great to wear at home or for casual activities. Looks good with jeans or slacks. Would love to have the color blocked style in women's sizes. Thanks!

This is not the color I ordered. What I ordered was green and blue. It fits me well. What I like about it is that it gives warmth and does not wrinkle. My 6-year old grandson wore it before we had dinner last Christmas. I wish they were available for children.

My review quit in the middle & so I'm continuing here... I've never owned a flannel shirt before but my gf wears them in the cold months. I decided I'd try one & my first choice (red) was sold out. This was my 2nd choice & I have absolutely no regrets. I bought it with my $10 discount which helped & was the incentive to buy. I hope to buy the red shirt next year.

My wife loves these shirts as says they are exceedingly comfortable, soft to the touch, and warm. Very nice flannel shirts.

Bought it for someone else this time. They LOVE the soft flannel shirt. The fit is perfect! The only way to improve this shirt is to match the plaids on the side seams.

It's hard to find clothes that fit me that aren't in the little girls section. This flannel is the perfect fit for my body type. It's also made extremely well. Super comfy, it's a winter staple!

Warm, comfortable and flattering fit. Washes well. I take it straight from the dryer and hang with no need to iron. Overall excellent quality and great for layering.

I've bought and returned quite a few button down shirts over the years. They were always either too small in the bust and too large in the stomach or too big overall or too small in the bicep, and the sleeves and length were always too long. Imagine my surprise trying on my new flannel shirt from LL Bean, not expecting much, and finding that the cuffs button AT my wrist (not several inches past my fingers. The chest fits my chest! It's not too long! It's truly one of the best items of clothing I've bought online.

I have a many of the plaids offered and jumped at adding the blue plaid to my collection. I'm hoping in due course LLB will offer a teal/turquoise plaid or purple/pink to switch things up from the usual fare. Only trouble is - my closet is full! This is one a the few shirts that is offered relaxed fit and sleeves not too skinny.

Have been wanting to buy this flannel since I was 13. Never found a flannel as great quality as this one. Bought the "black watch" color in LG has some wiggle room but I like that fit. Great under tee shirt or camisole. Now that I have this one I want to buy more! Highly recommend if you are searching for a decent flannel shirt

Really like this flannel shirt. It is very comfortable and looks good.

This is my first L.L. Bean flannel shirt and I guarantee that it won't be my last! I couldn't have chosen a better shirt. It is just the right thickness and is very soft. This flannel shirt is perfect! I can wear it on cooler days by itself or layered with a long-sleeved shirt or turtleneck on really cold days. The workmanship is excellent too. The plaid pattern matches on all the seams and the pocket too.

Shirt fits well, have worn it several times and am delighted with it.

The quality and fit was perfect for me. The material was very soft, and the colors were accurate with what was shown online. The delivery was superb which included a last-minute purchase for Christmas! I do recommend LL Bean's flannel shirts immensely.
