This flannel is just the right weight and soft and therefore cozy. It is roomy enough to wear over a tee shirt but not too loose. I purchased the victoria stewart plaid and it is lovely. Plaids match in front as they should. I am very happy with this purchase. And a 2 button cuff to boot.

I have purchased LLBean products for well over 20 years. LLBean has always been excellent to work with and have always provided durable, well made, beautiful and fits the size I order. I can count on LLBean!

Very comfortable and the quality is top notch.

I bought 3 of these. They fit, even the sleeves are long enough! I believe I have almost all of the plaids, some dating back about 12 years. Threadbare and all, I love this shirt! Only 2 nits to pick...(1)when you have a classic, don't mess with it! Button down collars, no buttons, some over the years are slimmer cut. If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT! (2) I would like to replace my oldest shirt, but you don't have it. Royal Stewart, in a SMALL plaid with 3 inch repeat. Again, a classic! Overall, keep it up and I'll be back for more!

I love LL Bean Flannel It is so soft and doesn't wrinkle like the cheaper shirts do. If I want to wear a light weight shirt under it I need the XL.

I had been waiting for eons for women's sized garments that don't contain pink or teal or purple to feminize them. I wanted classic flannel shirts in classic plaid patterns and finally LLBean provided them. I bought three shirts last year and liked them so much that I bought another this year. I originally purchased and preferred the fit of the fitted style, but when it was washed, the shirt shrank just enough that it was too small in the shoulders. I returned all of the shirts and exchanged them for the relaxed fit. While the collar was a little loose for my taste, it fit better in the shoulders than the fitted style once washed. The overall quality of the fabric and manufacturing of the shirts will keep them in my wardrobe for years to come. One other note, the fabric is luxuriously soft and smooth before washing, but immediately pills and rumples as flannel does once washed. But the shirts remain snuggley soft.

I ordered 2 shirts for the fall and winter months. They wash so nicely and barely need to be ironed. I'm still wearing a flannel shirt purchased in 1986 from LLBean and the color and condition have not changed much in 33 years. Awesome.

This is a heavier flannel, which I love!!!. I ordered the 1X because I wanted this roomy to be able to wear as an overshirt as well. The X-large fits just fine as a shirt. The quality is great. The color - my favorite. Our last Spring snow was in June and it is already snowing where I live. LL Bean Flannel is a year round choice for us. This shirt will last for years and years. We camp and hike all the time. It packs really well. I roll it up in my back pack so it is a handy layer. Thanks Bean!!!!

It is very nice to wear over a long sleeve shirt top in the winter time in Wisconsin. Have 2 other flannel shirts like this one in different colors bought from LLBean previously. I'm always cold and because we don't have to turn up the heat as the temperature we keep in the house is just right for my husband.

Absolutely lovely! So soft right off, and 6 months in the shirt is only more comfortable so I bought a second for winter. It is loose enough to wear over a t shirt comfortably or just on its own as a comfortable shirt. I have wide shoulders so it's difficult to find comfy button downs but this fits with room to stretch and lift things without worrying I'm going to split a seam! The collar is soft and has stayed in place without curling up or anything as long as I fold it over right out of the dryer. The colors haven't run or faded. A+ L.L. Bean quality, as usual!

These are very nice shirts but they are just a little too big. Maybe they would work if I always planned on wearing a shirt underneath them and unbuttoning them but they are just a little large to wear by themselves for me.

I have been buying these shirts from LL Bean for over 40 years and I just love them. My only wish is that you would add some different plaids. They are soft and warm and last for years. I always get the relaxed fit shirt as I can't imagine why a flannel shirt should be fitted.

Scotch plaid flannels are my favorite. The fabric is soft and substantial. Colors hold in the wash. They look great layered or on their own. Can dress up a bit or be super casual. I do miss the button-down collar from a few years ago, but I still love the shirt. If you're trying to decide which of many LLB flannels to get, start with this one.

The flannel is excellent quality and perfect weight. It is definitely relaxed, but I did not want it fitted. I could wear it buttoned and it looks great or I can wear a long sleeve t shirt under it and keep it unbuttoned. I got this as a daily markdown with 20% off, so it was a great deal. I will wait for another sale and purchase one or two more.

I have a wide back and short frame. The M fits like a 1st or 2nd layer. I may go for another one in L for winter layering. It looks really cute on. I'm a new LLBean customer. The quality and trueness of LLBean clothing is superior to other online competitors.

I love this shirt. Purchased a year ago and it's held up beautifully. I've taken it traveling all over North America and it's one of the warmest things I own and so soft. I ordered the large because I have a large torso, long arms, small bust but a larger back (I'm a swimmer) and it fits wonderfully with some wiggle room.

I bought this shirt big enough to put layers under it. I bought another which fits more snuggly for a trimmer look with no extra layers. Looks like this will be a very comfortable option for cold Minnesota winters. Happy with my purchase.

I bought this flannel in colquhoun and the pattern/colors are absolutely beautiful. This is a dark royal blue with the perfect amount of green black and red. I sized up based on reviews and Im glad I did because the xl fits me perfect (i am usually a large in llbean 12/14). This cut is longer than the relaxed fit (covers crotch and butt) and I love that because I can wear it with leggings or skinny jeans. The longer length also makes me appear taller/slimmer than the shorter relaxed version. If you're on the fence about which style to buy, I would recommend the fitted over the relaxed. (I bought both. L in relaxed and xl in fitted. Both fit perfectly) the only thing I would like to see is longer arms! I wish llbean would make talls!

Love LLBean flannel shirts. I chose XL petite as usual as they have always been what I liked, a little roomy and soft feeling. I have broad shoulders and the XL petite size works for me. This shirt was all that, perfect except for the long arms! OK I have shorter than normal arms I guess even for a petite size, but these arms are at least 2" too long for me. Of course I plan to roll them up a bit, but I wish the length was shorter.
