I cannot say enough good things about these flannel. I have eight of them and have been wearing some of them for years and years. They run a tad large so I usually order a size down, but forgot to this time. And it is wonderful that they come in petite! Warm and comfy over a tee or turtleneck, they are the best!

My new favorite shirt! I bought the relaxed fit and it is perfect! Most of my weight is in my middle so it is hard to find flattering clothes since most women's shirts are more fitted. But this is a great fit, and I love how it looks. This shirt is well made, comfortable and warm. I am very happy with it and intend to buy more.

I have bought these shirts since the very first year they came out. Put one on this morning and have to face the fact that the front panel and cuffs are frayed. But after wearing it almost daily for so many years, that is okay. I have four others, bought over time. However this one (can't recall which clan it is) that is red, white, and blue, is a great favorite, so I am replacing it this year with another with those colors. I can honestly say that I wear one of these flannel shirts every day almost the entire year around. I buy them to wear over tee shirts, which is the reason I buy larger than I would otherwise, and they are the best things in my closet.

This shirt is very comfortable and fits great. The quality is excellent.

I like good, well made , classic comfy clothing. They are well made, good quality fabric , and have that neat tailored look with traditional plaids. I got the black watch plaid but several others hang in my closet. I have learned to buy what you really like and skip the rest.

This flannel is ridiculously soft after just one wash, I love it!

I called the title of this review "comfort" because why do we turn to comfort food when we do?? I love this shirt!! On a chilly morning or evening I reach for this shirt and throw it on, even as an additional layer. Instant comfort!!!! I have even purchased different patterns of this shirt. Washes up nicely!!

In the past five years, I have grown to love flannel shirts (inherited two from my boyfriend's relative). However, as they were already owned and worn, and then I wore them all the time, I knew I needed to expand my flannel collection so as to prevent them from becoming thread-bare. Hello, LL Bean! I am so glad you exist, because I ordered your relaxed flannel in the Stewart tartan, and it is divine -- soft, thicker than the flannel shirts I already own (but in no way too thick (just right!)), and beautiful! I also appreciate the breast pocket and that the shirt is long enough to tuck into my high-waisted jeans. I might look like a farmer (and what one family member actually told me I looked like), but I don't care. I'd rather look like a New Englander supporting your fabulous company, a rare breed in that you exhibit integrity by still making many of your products here in the U.S., than supporting another that is heartless, by focusing only on the dollar bill, all other details be damned. I've had this shirt a few months now and get compliments every time I wear it. I usually wear it jacket style over a long sleeved tee and it's nice and warm. After going through the wash a few times it's gotten softer and some very slight pilling but nothing I can't live with.

This shirt is dreamy; beautiful colors. It fits just right. I bought the next size down because last time I got a Bean flannel shirt in my regular size (S pet) it was too roomy. I recommend you do that.

I love LLBEAN flannels .Thick ,warm, not a few times wear.Size up for the oversized look. Make sure you love the color because they last forever.

I absolutely love these flannel shirts. They are far superior to any other flannel shirt I have purchased, and I have several. I usually find them at thrift shops, so there have been a variety of brands, but none like this one. If I could wear it every day, I would. And during the pandemic, I have been able to wear it often!

I liked that it isn't form fitting and that the material is not paper thin. Nice warmth too.

I love LL Bean flannel shirts. They are just the right weight, and nicely made. I always order up a size for a loose fit and typically wear a tee shirt under.

I love this shirt. LL Bean makes the best flannel. It's so comfortable, soft, and warm; it's absolutely perfect for those days nearing freezing temps. I'm 5'3" and debated getting the petite sizing, but I think the regular works great since the sleeves are only maybe a centimeter longer than usual on me (not covering any of the fingers/thumb or anything). Definitely recommend this shirt to anyone who wants a good, warm flannel shirt.

Exceeded my expectations. I live in NH where flannel shirts are worn a lot. This shirt, which I am pleased to report was available in Tall, is lovely in every detail. The fabric is substantial, soft, and the Black Watch plaid is very dark and pretty. Buttons are well-fitted to the button holes, easy to do and undo and stay buttoned. Fit is flattering, just glides over the body. I could not be more satisfied. Thank you for elevating a flannel shirt into the pantheon of wearable happiness. Sorry to gush, but this is truly a great shirt.
