Ripped the first time I put on! Material incredibly thin. So disappointing! Now that LL "makes" their good's overseas, the quality has drastically declined. If this was the first experience I had with ripping material, shoddy craftsmanship etc, I'd be willing to accept it as an anomaly, but after multiple times of this sort issue, it is time LL Bean & I parted ways. You can do better!

Horrible! I'm shocked! L.L Bean used to be such good quality. I bought these for my grandmother and it's leaving green pills all over her bed, even after the dry cleaners it's STILL leaving pills stuck to her sheets. What a shame for the price paid!

These were a Christmas gift for my Mom. She never wore them and now I know why. Horrible fabric, like it came from a discount store. No body, no drape, no facing in plackets, and pills like crazy. I bought many sets of Bean flannel PJ's in the '80s and '90s for myself and as gifts. They were high quality - such a shame it's come to this.

The lint coming off this product was incredible! Washing machine completely covered when product first washed-luckily alone. Huge amount in dryer filter. Pajamas looked completely pilled after washing. Not Bean quality!

These were a birthday present for my wife. Worn once, washed, shrunk, unwearable. Cost way too much for one wearing.

I am disappointed. It is pilling and the flannel has a hard texture despite several washings. Prevois pjs from LLBean were softer and never pilled.

I was expecting a better product, after the first wash they pilled and we're not soft very disappointed. I have purchased other pjs from beans that were much better than these. Not recommend.

These are not cheap so i thought I'd be getting a good product. Washed it the first time and it fell apart and left lint everywhere and ruined clothes that washed together with it. Washed it a 2nd time and same amount a lint. Very disappointed!!!

Very large and unflattering, yet the sleeves are too short. Definitely not worth the money.

Whoever writes the description for these flannel pajamas obviously does not "inspect" the product. I purchased the 'Angus' (purple & black) flannel pajamas. This was the thinnest flannel I have ever experienced. The description states "Premium ultrasoft cotton flannel pajamas in just the right weight to stay warm and cozy without overheating." If this is what you folks call premium, then your standards are not very high. The material was very thin and I do not see how they would keep anyone warm. These pajamas also ran small. There are many other flannel pajama brands that charge as much as LL Bean (some sell for less) that are way better than what is being sold here. Where the flannel is much more plush and the flannel will actually keep you warm! Very disappointed and do not plan on purchasing other LL Bean products as their descriptions do not match the products they are selling. There are other reviewers that have the similar sentiments regarding this item. I would suggest the Marketing folks actually touch & feel the products before writing up their description! I returned this item as soon as I could.

The pajamas are way too big. I have purchased ll bean pajamas previously and still wear a few pairs. I am 5'9" 125 lbs and small tall size usually acceptable fit in any brand. I must constantly pull up because the new pajamas are so large they barely stay on. Fabric is good quality but Im not wearing because of fit. Unless I gain 20 lbs I will have to donate 2 pairs of $90 pajamas.

Expensive product Pajamas have been washed several times and are pilling and shedding throughout the house. Extremely disappointed. They cannot be worn - should have been rated zero, but that's not an option.

Too scratchy to wear even after multiple washings - the indigo tartan pair. The dress gordon pair was quite comfortable after it gave up hands full of lint.

So disappointed because these are not anywhere near the good fabric of your flannel shirts. They smell funny ,shrink and are scratchy to the skin. I am sending them back.

I returned the large that the size chart suggested I get because they were very large and long and customer service said they would only have minimal shrinkage. Before washing I tried the medium top over a shirt thinking if it was roomy they would work to sleep in after laundering. I washed per instructions in cold water and delicate dry cycle and the top was too tight across the back and pulled at the shoulder and arms. The bottoms were a little snug around the waist and the waist material bulky with the drawstring after washing also. Warm and very soft. Was so looking forward to them. Wondering now if the large would work after washing and shrinkage but these are very expensive and cost to return each time. However I may try since I need the warmth. There was also a large amount of lint on the dryer screen. We have purchased many many items over the years with no problems. My husband had several pairs of flannel pajamas with no fit issues. I am so disappointed as I am unable to find the heavier flannel anywhere else. I see others have said the pajamas have changed and they no longer fit properly.

This material was nice but the sizing was way off. The shirt ran really small. Ordering a size up meant the pants are too big. I had to return these.
