I got mine in before heading into work and I wasn't expecting them to be just a pinch too small.

Very narrow, tight-fitting shoe. The pull tab on the heel needs to stitched better, too easy to rip off especially with the narrow fit. Could benefit from metal eyelets to allow the laces to slide easier as well.

Been wearing high tops for years and loved the look/style of these ones when I saw in store but they are unfortunately **much** tighter than others :(

The shoes are awesome but as soon as I pulled them out of the box I saw that the laces were already completely frayed and will need replaced soon.

I have been wearing vans for about 6 years now and have been a size 10.5 consistently but these shoes (The Lizzie) are way to tight in the middle

I love the look and they would have been comfortable but they are way to thin in the middle. I don't have wide feet and I had to spread out the laces to wear them.

The laces ripped through the eyelets on one of my husband's shoes. He had them less than a month before they ripped. Vans did refund him, but he is not going to purchase a replacement pair. I put my Lizzie's on extra gently now to keep them from ripping. Judging by the other reviews, we aren't the only ones with this issue. If they come apart just from lacing them up, I can't imagine that they will hold up to actual skateboarding. Vans needs to address this poor design issue before they release more colors. It's ridiculous that $85-$90 shoes don't last a month before the laces rip through the eyelets. The regular sk8-hi's are way more durable (and less expensive, too).

Admittedly, I really am not a sneaker person, but picked up some of the Sailor Moon drop. This one I got in store, and since I had tried a different pair of Sk8 Hi in my size that fit great, I just grabbed the same size and ran.
That was definitely a mistake. The Sailor Moon Sk8 Hi in women's 7.5 fit with with a little room to spare, so they're super comfy. No problems there. But the Sailor Moon Lizzie shoe? You need to go up at least a half size more to fit with the thick foam insert inside. Pulling that out and using a thinner comfort insert fits my foot better, but I still probably could go up to an 8 to really fit comfortably. It's bizarre. And rather frustrating considering the limited release.
The fact there's no metal for the lace holes makes me think these are going to rip pretty fast as well, so I really figure these shoes will end up being more a collectible than ever being worn. Which is sad, but....I don't think I'll be able to get a bigger size at this point.
Also, the box is way less colorful than the box my Sk8 Hi shoes came in, which is also a little odd. Not sure why there was a difference.

I bought these shoes twice and sent them back twice. Each pair had a defect on the left shoe around the toe area. Maybe I got ahold of a bad batch idk

My son loves these shoes but the first eyelet ripped within a week. He hasn't even worn them to skate yet.

I love the look of these shoes but my first pair, the eyelet ripped the very first time I wore them! I returned those for a new pair but despite being the same exact shield and size, the second pair do not fit at all! They feel a 1/2 size smaller than the last 10.5. I'm do disappointed. Now I need to return a 2nd pair! I dropped both pairs off with fedex. I just hope I get my money back. Super bummed. These shoes look great.

I purchased these less than a month ago. I walk and skateboard in them. The soles and side have held up fantastically. But the third eyelet for the laces are so close to the edge of the suede that they tore right through. Plus they don't use the metal rings that reinforce the eyelets.
This has nothing to do with wearing out. It's a design flaw. I've purchased so many vans but this one is a big disappointment.

I have dozens of pairs of vans and I am a consistent size 9 in Womens. These ran small and also narrow. I also wish there was a loop to help you get them over your heels since they are half calfs. I had to return mine sadly. I had high hopes but they hurt my feet!

these marshmallow ones look amazing, they fit great. My only complain and a major one is that the fabric that holds the Tongue in place is bright red, my white socks got pinkish just by wearing them, and as soon the shoes got a bit wet the tongue started getting pink as well, i just wore them for less than a week :/ - hopefully is just a short run before they fix this issue. I might return for the black ones :(

I LOVEE the way these look, but they run superrr small!! I'm generally a 7-7.5 womens shoe size. I got the 7.5 and they are tight to the point that I will have to return. My foot is also very narrow- so not a width problem. Very sad .

These fell apart on the second casual wear! No way these would actually hold up if used for skating. A total waste of money.

Kind of disappointed for the first time ever I got a bad delivery from Vans! Really hyped for these shoes, they looked used. Soles dirty.

Very disappointed when I received my shoes. When I opened the box there was multiple marks on the shoes. They had scuff marks on sole of the shoes, as well as yellowish stains on multiple different areas on the canvas(I'm assuming these were from glue when the shoe was manufactured). I ended up returning them because I was scared if I exchanged I'd just ended up getting shoes that looked the same way.

I wanted to love these shoes but after about 30 minutes of wearing them I started getting sores on both of my ankles. By the end of the day my ankles were killing me!

Super cute but you need to size up! At LEAST half a size but would be better one whole size up if you have wider feet.

I've used them twice and the right shoe already came unglued. I've been wearing vans all my life but this is the fist time I was disappointed

I bought the canvas whites, really comfy. But the laces turned yellow somehow and an eyelet has now torn off. Barely wore these shoes too.

This shoe came up in my search for Vans available in wide widths. I was really hopeful and then super disappointed when the shoe was way too tight and narrow. I had to return.
