These designs are delightful so I tried a pair when there was a good sale price. Unfortunately, the top is a light weight jersey that may be comfy for sleeping but isn't warm enough for the months when flannel bottoms are appropriate. I'm keeping this pair and adding a light sweatshirt, but I wouldn't order again.

The bottoms fit great, roomy but not too big. The flannel is thick and soft. The top was a different story though. It was a very thin material that felt like polyester, and it was tight fitting. I have several of these same sets from years past and the tops are much thicker and loose fitting in the older sets. I am a medium in tops and bottoms and these new sets fit like a small top and medium bottom. Sadly had to return.

I have always loved the nice heavier weight and softness of the pullover tops in the pj sets. But the top of the pink sandstone dog style was so thin and flimsy that I could not wear it. I ordered three sets of that style because that was the only choice available. LL BEAN please fix the pj tops to softer and weighty like the ones from the past 2-3 years.

Side seams on PJ pants should have the plaid pattern match . You almost expect seams not be match on low priced product BUT aat this original price and sale price of $49.00, you would expect better when pattern is being cut.

Regular size was too tight though the shoulders, too short in the sleeves and legs, too large in the torso and waist, despite my regular body size.

I like the feel of the material of the bottoms, but the pockets run along the seam which is unsatisfactory. My hands and shoulders have to be behind the natural way they hang. The top is a large and I'm 5'3" and it could hang longer as we know it will shrink. I'll end up with a belly shirt in a year and that is washing on warm and hanging to dry. I am finding that LLBean's clothing sizes are unpredictable. For example: I also bought a 3/4 sleeve top in this order, same as two other tops from two years ago, same size, same top, just a different color. It is smaller and shorter out of the box. Had to return petite blue jeans as they were too short for me at 5'3. I have two ripstop pants, different colors, regular size, medium and both are different sizes. I'd like to be refunded on these order returns. It isn't my fault that LLBean cannot make consistant sizing.

Shirt sleeves and pants length shrunk significantly when washed and dried.

Waste of money. Washed them once and they had shrunk so much I cannot wear them anymore. For the price these pajamas cost, I would expect better quality.

The pajama material is great! But...they run small in the back side. After washing, they are even smaller. Will likely wear them anyway but will not purchase another pair.

I got these as a Christmas gift after eying them for months. I asked for a size 1x because I have a pair of flannel pjs in a 2x that are enormous. Well I was extremely disappointed with the fit because these run significantly small. My favorite part about the set was the shirt design, but after putting it on, I don't feel comfortable wearing it because it's both too tight and too short. Overall, these were a bust and I'm really bummed with them. I gave two stars because I still really like the design.

I bought two sets, different sizes and styles. Washed in cold water and gentle cycle and used extra low heat setting to dry. Pants were okay but tops were too small to wear comfortably.
Very dissatisfied given that I spent $160 for something we can't wear.

I purchased these pajamas for Christmas. The pants are not flannel material and are not very soft. The material shrinks quite a bit after washing. I have purchased LL Bean Pajamas in the past and they are much better quality for material. I am disappointed that they are not as soft or comfortable.

I have bought many Camp PJ Sets in the past, and I love them for the quality of the flannel, which is very substantial and great for winter. However, this new set is definitely inferior, lower quality flimsy flannel. It might be OK for summer, but definitely not for winter. What has happened to the quality? I may return this set, because it is not what I wanted or expected, nor what I paid for. I guess a harbinger of things to come.

I bought the sea pine/coral plaid, mostly because iI liked the top, "If you get lost..."
All went fine the first year because I didn't put it in the dryer at all ( knowing LL Bean merchandise tends to shrink) but forgot and it wound up in the dryer once. Sleeves shrunk five inches. I'm annoyed becuase in the old days LL Bean would have replaced since the item was still in stock. Now, I know better than to ask. So, buy at your own risk but don't expect to " get what you pay for". Those days are over with this company

These pajamas are very disappointing. I purchased a petite XL so they would be loose and baggy. After washing they shrunk enough for the pants to be the correct length, but they are made of a very un-stretchy knit. Pros: The pants have pockets, always a plus. Cons: The tee absolutely does not stretch and is too short. Even before washing, it was too short. The fabric is very thin making them more appropriate for spring. I will wear the pants with a different top; the top is unwearable.

I really expected some good flannel pj pants from llbean as I have had in the past. This fabric doesn't even feel like real flannel. Cheap is all I can say.

Every set of Bean PJs I've ever bought has been a tight fit, despite ordering per the sizing chart. This time I went up a size, but now I could fit my husband and dog in the bottoms with me. 100% cotton but even if I deliberately shrink them I'll still be swimming in them, plus they'llbe too short. Top is also a bit too large but incapable of puddling around my ankles. No more Bean jammies for me.

Purchased, but returned. Top was slightly fitted as described, but was a much smaller cut even though it was my usual size.
Not enough room to feel relaxed in. Pants didn't feel like flannel, very thin and were not roomy enough. Now I know what a favorite fit means in the description. I returned and ordered a selection from the cozy pj set. I have 2 others in this style which are a true fit. Top is a Henley with room for movement. Pants are roomy to give you that relaxed fit, but not baggy. The Pants are a true flannel, not too heavy, just a great feel and fit.
Hopefully the color design I chose will not disappoint me because sometimes the quality can change from one year to the next. I ordered petite large which is my usual size in LL Beans pj's.

Purchased the "Wicked Comfy" version for $80, hoping L.L. Bean quality would be worth the splurge. Pretty disappointed. As mentioned by other reviewers, both shirt (both length and sleeves) and pants are too short. Nobody wants that in sleepwear. Shirt is also rather boxy. The overall design is cute, but the execution is lacking. Wouldn't purchase again.

I'm only 5'1" and always look for an opportunity to purchase petite size clothing. I ordered these PJs in a petite hoping that the length would be perfect. The sleeves and leg length were OK, but the top was so short that if I raised my arms it came up above my stomach. I've been wearing another longer t-shirt underneath the top to make it work. Very disappointed.

PJ set felt nice but the sizing was completely off. Pajama pants were too short and the waist/hips felt really tight. I even ordered a size larger than my normal since I want comfort when wearing pajamas. Shirt sleeves were a little short too. I had to return but was disappointed that I needed to pay for the shipping.

I bought 2 sets of these pjs and wore one set last night. In the middle of the night I took the bottoms off because they were so uncomfortable. The waist band is very thick and wide and feels more like a restraint. This morning I cut out the pockets because it's just more material around my waist, and I don't need pockets when I'm sleeping. I will have to hand stich the pocket opening closed. I'm 5'2" and weigh 130 lbs with a stomach so I bought a large petite. The bottoms come to my ankles so if I bought them again I would buy extra large regular. This morning I washed them in cool water and hung them to dry while smoothing out the wrinkles and pulling the legs to make them longer. They wash beautifully. It's hard to find women's cotton pjs at LLBean, but I'll keep looking. I think these pjs would be great for lounging.

As others have noted: The shirt was wide and boxy with short sleeves in terms of length. The bottoms have no stretch. I am always a M at LL Bean (and in the full set top/bottoms with button pjs). The pants were ok but the shirt was a full size smaller. Even if I go up a size for the pants to be cozier - I doubt the shirt will even fit.
