I love my Royal Stewart Scotch plaid shirt. I buy these shirts for men in my life every year & finally bought one for myself & I am so glad I did! I love the Royal Stewart plaid. I have been wanting this shirt for years & finally got it! I am 5'2"& weigh 95 lb and I got a petite large to wear as a layer over a sweater & under a vest & it fits just like I wanted. Washes well and the colors are perfect! I would recommend these Scotch plaid shirts to anyone for men or women.

The shirt is roomy, allowing me to wear a heavy tee underneath it; the fabric is thick and warm.

I have to admit I sort of collect Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirts, but I try to restrain myself by looking for new color ways that I really like. When I saw this year's Antique Dress Stewart, I was hooked. The brown and coral colors are so pretty and different from the red-blue-green colors that are standards. I waited a while and used Bean Bucks and a 10% off sale. I'm glad I didn't wait too long, because this pattern is not now available in the size I ordered. I usually wear these shirts over long-sleeve t-shirts and roll up the cuffs. I'm 5'2" and sometimes get a Petite, but more often prefer the extra torso length of a Regular even if the sleeves are a bit long. At 160 lbs, I can wear a Large, but this time chose the extra roominess of an XL.

This is a beautiful shirt, well made and comfortable.
