Could have been a little more room in the chest area.

The relaxed fit is very comfortable and allows for a layer underneath. The fabric is soft and the colors pair with everything.

Great flannel shirt - just a bit wrinkly when you wash it

Love the plaid, fits well everywhere EXCEPT it's 2-3" too short! PLEASE offer Tall Sizes! News Flash: humans have been getting taller over many decades. Most clothing manufacturers have offered 'Tall' sizes in their lineup for years. I find it very irritating that LLBean has ignored this reality.

This shirt was nice, soft fabric and fairly thick, but the fit was off. Too narrow in the shoulders and too skinny in the arms and at the cuff. I'm not a big gal, I wear extra small but the fit is just off on these.

Nice and comfortable wear with jeans or cargo pants. Soft and fits well.

This is really cut BIG. I'm honest about my sizing but I had to go down a full size to ensure it did not look like a tent.

Very soft, warm. Love the colors in the cream. Great for layering. Just want to encourage LLBean to match the plaid patterns on the sides.

Shirt is comfortable and fits perfectly. There is some mild pilling that started with the first wash, even though I turned in wrong side out. Perhaps normal for flannel? I haven't had a flannel shirt in a long while.

Not what I expected. Large, boxy style. I am 5'3", 105 pounds. The small was huge on me and had no shape at all. Material was quite lightweight for winter. Had to return because it did not suit me but gave it 4 stars because it was well made and an attractive pattern.

This is a nice flannel shirt. It's fit is roomy without being too large, and it washes well. My one complaint is the number of buttons. There are only five buttons down the front plus one at the collar. My other LL Bean flannels have seven buttons plus another at the collar. This leave the collar too wide open, especially for cold weather.

Fits well and is long enough you're tall. I wish LL Bean would offer more tall sizes for women.

This is generously sized. I bought my regular size and even with a turtleneck underneath it is still roomy. Size down if you'll be wearing it without a base layer. Love that sleeves are long, have had problems with other LLB tops where sleeves or truck length are too short. This shirt could even shrink and it would still fit. Flannel is nice mid weight, not too heavy and not flimsy or thin.

This is a very soft flannel. It's a nice weight. My only complaint is that it's a bit short in the length.

Colors are darker than shown. However, the fit and quality are right on!

The flannel is very soft and substantial. Oddly enough, I found this shirt in size small was bigger than 2 other different flannels in the same style. The shirt washed up very nicely. The reason I took one star off is that the white stripe stands out on the otherwise dark plaid and because the plaids are not matched at the seams some placements looked odd.

I have other Bean flannel shirts. I just received the Washed Buchanan plaid because except for a lighter blue, this one has some fine Fall colors which are lighter than those darker Scotch plaid ones. Nothing wrong with those just that this is a much nicer looking plaid. Got a regular relaxed large though the size chart would suggest a small: No way would that fit my senior body! the shirts do tend to shrink even though I wash in cold water & hang to dry. I like them loose to wear over a tee or turtleneck. Very nice & the seam colors match! A medium weight cotton. Could use another set of buttons on the cuff. And ditch the breast pocket: useless!

Great color but NO SIDE POCKETS! Really miss the flex shirts (discontinued for women), only have them for Men! That's so wrong!

I have bought LLBean flannel shirts in the past - warm for cool days when a puffy is not needed. I need the petite and it fits! However, this year I had to return my small for a medium - the back was tighter than my previous shirt and the sleeves were shorter.

Just received and tried on. 5'1", 114 mature lbs. Size PM fits a bit large through chest, arms and sleeves a bit long, BUT, I appreciate the room for a heavier tee or long-sleeve shirt underneath, and I'm used to rolling up sleeves, it suits me just fine. It is very soft and warm, and the Vintage Tartan (blue) is very nice. Good Price, too. I'm pleased.

This is the first LL Bean item in decades that I have not been thrilled with. The Blackwatch Plaid is so dark, it just looks black. It's supposed to be a rich, dark green color. The shirt fits well and is made well but the darkness of the color was disappointing and limits its use.

This is the quality I expect after many years of purchases here. Good fit, fabric. The only issue I have is that the distance between the buttons has been increased (or it seems so to me) and leaves gaps where I would prefer there were none, if you know what I mean. And while I purchased this knowing that the button closest to the top missing (so that you can have less neck showing), the gaps below mean that I'll go elsewhere for future flannel shirts.

Would have rated it higher, but looking for more feminine colors lighter. I have llbean flannels from many, many years ago and love the pastel colors.
