No one makes flannel shirts like LL Bean, these fit perfectly and stay soft after many washings, great shirts!!!

The colors in the plaid are great - goes with many slacks/jeans and t-shirts. Quality of the flannel is fabulous!

This shirt (actually I ordered 2) is the perfect shirt for fall and with a t shirt under it, perfect for your coldest days. Very comfortable and super soft, washes beautifully. The fit was just perfect for me. I usually have to roll up petite sleeves, but not with this shirt. I'm considering ordering a few more!

The shirt is great; I ordered the Black Watch plaid; the colors were deep and rich-even better in person than in the pictures. The flannel was a great weight and the fit was flattering. I believe it is roomy enough to wear a shirt under it if I want to wear it as a light layering piece. I typically would wear an XL and went up just a little to allow for layering and / or any shrinkage.

I have finally found a women's flannel shirt I like to ware. Its comfortable and very soft. It washes well and looks like new after 3 washes (I purchased it 3 weeks ago).

Since I am short, I ordered a petite large. It was a perfect fit. I am a big fan of L.L.Bean. Great quality at affordable prices.

These shirts are soft and warm enough to wear alone or with a turtleneck underneath. I have ordered three of these and I am so very pleased with the quality of these garments.

This shirts fits perfectly and is so soft and comfortable. I have worn it over turtlenecks, and it completes the look I want to have. I have received many complements on it, and several of my friends plan to order one for themselves.

This is a great flannel shirt! Warm enough to be warn as a light jacket right now. The Stewart plaid is beautiful and goes with most of my tees and pants.

I have a 42 DDD bust that makes button down shirts a challenge to say the least. This shirt fits! It has an attractive look that does not look baggy even on a solid gal like me. I am so pleased that after a cold water wash and a trip through the dryer, it still buttons up. It is warm and the red plaid is very sharp looking.

I really like this shirt. It's soft and warm and looks good. The sleeves, as one commenter pointed out, are longish, but I tried a Petite originally and it looked silly on me. The Regular is better for my 5'4" height. I'm really commenting b/c I have requested multiple times, over a couple of years, that women be offered MacBeath Old Colors in this shirt. The requests have not so far succeeded. Why do the guys get the prettiest plaid while we're left out?? Please LLB - that shirt will be my next purchase from you!

Loved the weight, heavier and warmer than other flannels. I've been wearing it as a lightweight jacket during the fall months.

Colors are true to the catalog; it's warm and comfortable, and washes and dries like a dream. I expect to live in it with a turtleneck underneath this winter.

Washes great...hang dry. Beautiful, soft, cozy at work. Make in every pattern...I will buy.

Bought this to wear over other shirts. Did not disappoint. Didn't shrink and sooo soft. I don't like shirts snug so this was great.

Almost true to size, but just a hair smaller except for the sleeves, which are too long. I just folded back the cuffs to fit. Otherwise, my favorite winter shirt LLB does not currently have a matching navy T-neck, but I found a good match at Macy's.

Love the shirt it is plenty big and very comfortable. It also looks good with many of my llbean shirts.
