I have bought many things from L L Bean and will continue to do just that. I have never gotten anything was just like the picture in the catalog showed and the fit is always correct. My only thing I would like is for their plaid shirt to come in the Clan Douglas plaid.

I now have two of these shirts and it took me awhile to realize the size small regular was best for me. My first one was a petite and I always seemed to be tugging at sleeves that felt too short. This shirt is soft and has room for two thin under layers. I love the attention given to the matching of the plaids; the pocket appears to be part of the shirt. It washes and dries well when I remove it still warm from the dryer, give it a shake and place on a hanger.

Love the comfort and also the warmth. Nice to wear with the flannel lined Jean's I ordered a few months ago . Both are really comfortable and the shirt is very soft. Love the color too!!!

If you want the best quality flannel shirts in the market loo no further. Mine are still soft and comfortable after multiple washings .

Wonderful warm fabric, very good quality. I wanted a black and red shirt for the holidays, and this is perfect. The red is almost a cranberry, very pretty. RUNS BIG, LOOSE AND LONG. I'm usually a large in a blouse because I'm a bit thick in the middle, and the petite medium fit just fine. Unlike similar ones I bought and returned elsewhere, the plaid matches perfectly. Would make a nice holiday gift.

First flannel from LLBean ever - can't believe I waited this long. Fit is great. So comfortable and soft! A thick henley long sleeve from LLBean fits under just barely. Order a size up maybe if you'd like to layer a sweatshirt under or wanting loose fitting.

It is soft and warm. I like the relaxed fit because I usually wear a turtleneck under it, and it is still comfortable with lots of movement.

Unlike the cheap versions in other stores, this flannel shirt is nicely made with a soft, unbulky flannel. I am a size 16-18 and found this to fit nicely without being too baggy or too snug. It is my second flannel shirt from LL Bean and as with the first one, I was not disappointed. Long Island Fan

I love this shirt. I have 4 of them. Reviews complained about pilling after it was washed. So I buttoned the shirt and turned it inside out before washing it in cold water. I didn't put it in the dryer, but rather smoothed it out and hung it up to dry. Once it dried, the shirt was soft, wrinkle free, and looked great. My husband was very complimentary of the shirt. Highly recommend.

Love this shirt - as a relatively tall slender woman, with long arms and broad shoulders, I have a very hard time finding button up shirts that fit. This one fits the bill - the torso is a bit relaxed, but not swimming on me as usual. The arm length is perfect and there is no tightness across the shoulders. I would love MORE offerings in tall/small, please!

These are so warm, soft and comfortable. I highly recommend them! I ordered a large because I like it loose, although a medium would of fit me. LLBean does not disappoint!!!

Last year bought one. This year early fall I got two more. I put them on and I feel so comfortable and happy. I am getting one for every day.

Excellent quality. This flannel shirt is very warm. I bought a size up because I wanted to layer it. The sleeves are long so if you haven't got long arms you might want to get a petite. That's what I will do next time.

I cannot even tell you how excited I am that this flannel comes in Tall sizes now. I've wanted one for years, but at 5'9 with a 6' wingspan, the sleeves were always too short. But the XS Tall size fits perfectly! The sleeves are plenty long enough (they go an inch or so past my wrist even)! The material is substantial, soft, and warm. I'd love to see more Tall options, but for now you can find me cozy, warm, and smiling in this ultra-classic flannel.

Warm and cosy shirt. I wish the top button was higher to keep my throat warmer, but apart from that it's good. Runs a bit large.

It fits me perfectly. I hate sleeves that hang long and over my hands. It's warm, soft, doesn't wrinkle ane washes well. Great shirt. I bought 2 of them now.

This comfy shirt gets softer with each washing. Actual colors are close to the online photo, bright and cheerful. Fit and length are good. I was looking for a fall/winter casual shirt that would stand up to outdoor activities, and this one does.

Very comfortable. Soft flannel. Fits well. It shrank a tiny bit which was good because I fit halfway between LLBean medium and large.

This is a great shirt. I am a size 12, which is at the top of the medium range. Since this is a relaxed fit, it gives me just a bit more room across the back of the shoulders and around the hips. I compared it to a 'slightly fitted M' and found that shirt too snug. The fabric is a good weight (not too flimsy, and the colors are striking.

Flannel shirts are a must living in Maine and LLBean's are the best. Nice and thick and warm but drape nicely also. I have had several over the years and they last.

Love the shirt. Soft fabric, comfortable fit. I'm large busted (38D) and the large shirt fits without being tight. Roomy enough to layer over a long sleeve T-shirt. I've bought XLs from other vendors only to be unable to button the shirt. I'm very happy with my purchase and would absolutely buy another.
